This was the best loving thing I've ever used on a computer. The only real problems are that the batteries run out faster than other devices, below 1/4 battery life left meant re-syncing every twenty minutes (batteries would work fine in other things) and that mine eventually broke, after using it solidly for years.

Why the hell doesn't anyone make trackballs like this anymore? If Logitech would just make a wired version of this trackball, or if Microsoft would just re-release the Trackball Explorer, I could die happy. I miss that thing.
