Lance Cade (Lance McNaught, 28), has signed a new contract and should be returning soon. Cade was under contract from 2001-08, and worked on the main roster in 2003-04, and again from late 2005 until being fired in October of 2008. He’d wrestled sparingly over the past year. He was fired after getting the biggest push of his career, working as Jericho’s bodyguard/second and he even pinned Michaels in a tag match. But he suffered a seizure on an airplane as a result of what was believed to have been too many pills and was cut immediately. At the time he admitted he had made a mistake but felt that he shouldn’t have lost his job over it. Cade debuted again on the 10/22 FCW show in Tampa, teaming with Michael Tarver (formerly Tyson Tarver except once they had Tyson Kidd, you don’t want two Tysons), to lose to Tyler Reks & Yoshi Tatsu. The 100 or so fans in attendance gave him a “Welcome back.” chant.

OTHER NEWS

Low Ki is back in WWE Developmental. Dos Caras Jr. has an injury and was taken off the Roster Page even though he still has a contract. Weirdos.

~~~
No timetable for Jim Ross' return.
~~~

Backlash seems to be the only old PPV that has survived the name changes.

~~~
I really have no other news.
Topics to Discuss and other assorted crap that happened on the shows last week.
Sheamus defeated Shelton Benjamin cleanly on the way out of ECW. It sucks to be Shelton Benjamin.
Christian vs. Yoshi Tatsu was a great match. Those 2 are really fun to watch and here's hoping Yoshi gets another shot soon!
John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler had YET ANOTHER MATCH. This time Ziggler won. By Count Out. In a non title match. Huh.
For the first time in a long time, WWE had a Womens match with a jobber who nobody knew.
Eric Escobar lost to Matt Hardy.
Chris Jericho has butted his way into Big Shows championship match.
Ozzy & Sharon don't want to hear anybodies crap.
Evan Bourne must be trying to impress backstage.
Sheamus is a maniac. Noble is the best seller.
People set up Mark Henry's finisher for him now.
Chris Masters just had the highlight of his career.
This RAW has had a lot of segments to just waste time.
Big Show decided to fight with Jericho in a match with NOTHING ON THE LINE because he needed a W on his win loss record.
Jericho won anyway!
I hope Cena vs HHH vs HBK is goofy fun all the way. Kofi is awesome and should be main event soon. Ozzy and Sharon are decent guest hosts. Chris Masters and Santino should remain goofy fun.
Goofy fun is great. DX vs Jerishow is good. MVP+Henry vs Legacy is good. Orton vs Kofi is good.
They used to be. I love powerbombs, but I don't think they make good finishers. With the exception of Jack Swaggah's, which owns.
if nascar and terrible music couldn't tarnish otherwise great episodes of raw, i think a guest as innocuous as a boxer nobody recognizes should be safe sailing.
also, i think i mentioned it during the tail-end of the raw thread, but the stark contrast in the booking between the two tag teams involved in championship matches at survivor series is awesome. jericho and big show have established that there will be tension between the two, but can ultimately put it behind them, whereas hhh and hbk haven't even addressed the possibility of dissension. i like putting too much thought into rudimentary pro wrestling booking!
Don't doubt the Hitman.
I've got high hopes for Hatton's Raw. He's popular as all hell over here, and the crowds are always hot whenever WWE comes to England. Not to mention the last time WWE was on our shores, we got Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena for an hour and Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy in a hardcore match.
RandyOrtonIsMyGod
...and the RKO his message.
Ok, why did the thread title have to reference my lest favorite part of Raw? I just found Sharon constantly saying that irritating.
Also, because it didn't get answered in the Raw thread, was I hearing things or did Randy get a pretty decent pop when he first came out?
And for content, a couple stories I saw (obligatory disclaimer applies):
quote:
There is a glitch in the new SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 video game where one can create a Diva that is pantyless in the "Create a Superstar" mode. Players have been uploading videos of their creations to YouTube, but THQ is having them quickly removed.
Also, maybe we should start lowering out expectations on the 'Taker movie:
quote:
Source: PWInsider
- As noted over the weekend, WWE is planning a movie based on the origin of The Undertaker character, reportedly a Western set in the 1800's. The project does not have any actors or writers at this point but is in WWE Studios' plans for 2010-2011. The current projected budget for the movie is in the $3.5 million range, indicating that it's a direct to DVD film.
ozzy removed the final hurdle between society's lowest common denominator and summer music festivals by removing the cost of entry from ozzfest a few summers ago. i don't have the statistics, but i guarantee both unwanted pregnancies and statutory surprise sex charges saw a drastic increase that summer. also, i'm a condescending fan of pretentious indie rock.
