Yes, very wondering.

So I was watching this National Geographic show and they added clay to a cast of a skull of an extinct hominid species and did a full forensic reconstruction with glass eyeballs and poo poo. As I watched, that fat girl from the show "Facts of Life" (Natalie? I think) appeared before my eyes with a sloping forehead...

So anyway, modern humans have a very distinctly shaped skull, with a vertical forehead and strong, sharp chins (aside from some unfortunate breeding that occurs).
Modern human:

Click here for the full 600x713 image.

Human ancestors and other related hominids had more sloping foreheads, weak or rounded chins, heavy brow ridges, crazy pointed occipital buns, crazy pointed sagittal crests, enlarged teeth, tiny braincases and all sorts of variations of other fun detailing.
Extinct hominid:

Ok, so I'll start:

Homo Habilis

  Drew Barrymore

Homo Heidelbergensis

  Rush Limbaugh

Australopithecus Boisei

  Kate Moss

Your goal is to turn a famous person into a species of hominid using tools like scale, distort and liquify. Do not paste a wax dummy neanderthal face onto a celebrity. Don't loving use those unfunny rear end in a top hat whining Geico "cavemen" either. Just manipulate the skull/face/body of a celebrity into the form of a human ancestor or other hominid.
1) List the hominid.
2) Show your beautiful photo manipulation.
3) Spoiler tag who it is, so we can have fun trying to guess.
4) Please don't post if you are going to use the fat barfing couch goon, the vulture/starving baby, the napalmed naked Vietnamese kids, the South Vietnamese guy shooting the Viet Cong in the head, the burning monk or any other obtuse loving cliché poo poo that uncreative people use every loving time because they have no original thoughts in their head and they thought it would be really funny like the time that they saw that particular meme used over at 4chin or ebaumwolle or you know what the gently caress I mean.

"Enhance! Enhance! Enhance!"

EDIT:

Awesome idea.

Just an FYI, the point of the huge sagittal crests in these hominins was for attachment of massive temporalis muscles. The areas lateral to the crest would be filled in by these muscles, so you wouldn't see the crest as a bony protrusion.

But that's just me nerding out, and the pictures are great.

I did some quick research about the anchoring of muscles to the sagittal crests for chewing wood and poo poo. You were right and I have edited my image accordingly. I thought the crests were like male gorillas, but I see that they are something altogether different. See the new   Kate Moss   above. Cheers!
P.S.
That was not nerding out. It was awesome and I learned something new. Nerding out does not include that kind of awesomeness. Also, since you are an expert, please contribute!

Paleontologist chiming in to say that I laughed so hard at the heidelbergensis image that I nearly made a GBS thread in my shorts. Beautiful.

And if there are any hot actresses/models that you look at paleofied in this thread and think "Well, maybe if I was really drunk..." then the following song (copyright 2009 by yours truly) is for you!

I have a degree in Biological Anthropology and I do not have an account capable of posting pictures, but OH GOD THIS IS THE BEST THREAD EVER.

Can someone please do a Rudapithecus-based image? Please? I'm a former Rudabanya dig participant.

We think they're great. In a grand, mystical, neopolitical sense, these guys have a real message in their music. They don't, however, have neat names like me and Bono.

I've always thought Lou Diamond Philips looked like an Australopithecine.

I am a lady. But yeah, I actually thought one needed one of the various money-costing upgrades to post pictures. I'm dumb, true, but the issue is moot, as I don't have Photoshop.

However, your Rosie Perezungaricus has been forwarded to my professor and dig buddies. Thank you!
