What could possibly go wrong on a day like this? BOOOOOOOOOOOOM! Your normally quiet street is rocked by an explosion - each hero drops his toast, his morning paper, her mascara wand - and races outside their beautiful suburban houses to see what the trouble is. And there, where Neo's house normally stood, was a pile of rubble. And one pair of shades, mangled beyond recognition. "What a senseless tragedy," wails one hero. "He was so young!" cries another. "Who could do such a thing?" questions a third. "I don't know guys," says a fourth. "But that was a wicked explosion." "A worthy way to die," agrees a fifth. And that's when all the heroes grew silent, contemplating giant bombs and their own mortality. "There's a note!" DEAR ACTION MORONS, YOUR REIGN AS KINGS OF THE BOX OFFICE WILL SOON BE OVER. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE GROWN DULL AND WITLESS WATCHING YOUR BRAINLESS ANTICS. SOON EXPLOSIONS WILL BE REPLACED BY LOVE SCENES, AND QUASI-WITTY ONE-LINERS REPLACED WITH REAL COMEDY LEGENDS! "Oh, no!" gasp the heroes as it slowly dawns on them what has just gone down. Other genre stars are masquerading as action heroes. It is the town's job to figure out who they are and Welcome to Action Mafia! This is a game for 25 players, with a closed setup. The roles are pretty standard and should all be found on The SA Mafia Wiki or that wicked cool flash thingy. Furthermore, this game will include optional Post Restrictions. Meaning you can choose to roleplay your character, but if you don't want to, nothing bad happens. If you don't like PRs, you probably shouldn't play in this game. Your mods this game will be: Savahontas (AIM: Savahontas, PMs: Y) and Poke-Protector 2000 (AIM: SAPokey2k, PMs: Y). Pokey is in some crazy part of the world ( Sombrero (AIM: sombrero stan, PMs: Y), as acting KING OF THE INTERNET, will also be providing vote-counts and general internet wisdom. First some administrative stuff… THE RULES 1. Don’t edit your posts. At all. Don’t try to subvert normal play with t/d, toxxes, whatever. In return, I won’t gently caress with you: there will be no jesters, deathmillers, or changing alignments. This game is 100% not a mindfuck. Keep it clean! 2. I will give you deadlines. I love deadlines. Insta-lynch is set at 1/2+1 and deadline lynches are 1/3+1. Or something close. I am really horrible at counting. 3. Cardflip is ON. The cardflips are 100% accurate. 4.
