SIGNUPS ARE NOW CLOSED

Hose King suggested it in the PIF thread and it was a good idea, so here we go.

If you would like to participate, fire off an email to tfrsecretsanta at gmail dot com Said email should contain your forums username, your street address(including your Country). In the email I would also like a general list of what you don't want/what you already have and a general list of what you would like(be reasonable). You can just post your list here though, I only request it in the email to lower the workload on myself. As a Santa you do not have to get your giftee something from their list, but it would be nice if you did.

Sign up is from now until November 20th. On November 20th names will be randomly matched to other names, you buy a gift for your person and mail it off. Its Secret Santa, not rocket science. Gifts should be mailed off on or before December 4th. On December 26th, post your TFR Secret Santa loot, preferably with pictures and thank your Secret Santa.

The suggested amount is $50, not including shipping.

I'd be the first on the list, but I can't afford to get anyone a gift. Likewise if you are unwilling or unable to give a gift, please do not sign on. You gotta give in order to receive, ya know?

I'm open to suggestions/improvements if you guys have any.

IIRC the standing tradition is $50 cap with a little play for shipping and assorted fees.

I guess I'll call the min at $10 and max at $50 not including shipping, unless there are any objections.

I remember $40 not including special extras like rubber fists. Also the price cap is more of a suggestion of what to expect to receive for giving stuff. That way if you give someone a gold plated FAL you know you're only going to get $40 in socks from someone else.

I'm in, email is sent. $50 sounds totally fair to me. If ordering stuff new, I suggest drop-shipping to make it even more

I'd like: a light for an XD subcompact, a solid Picatinny/Weaver mountable foregrip, a Picatinny/Weaver mountable light, a Picatinny/Weaver mountable bipod, or random cool poo poo I didn't know I needed or wanted. Glowy/steampunky things are always fun.
I don't want: DVDs, herpes, clothes

Awesome nerdy stuff can be had from ThinkGeek and UnitedNuclear.

Also: Fire related stuff is fun, but I live in the desert, so I can't use it without possibly causing major property damage/deaths.

If I get G43, can I have a machine gun? I know it is a *little* beyond the price range set out here, but what is a ten-twenty grand between random people on the internet friends?

As usual, I've divided my perpetual wish list by company and sorted items in increasing order of cost. I've pretty much thrown my entire wish lists up here, so there are some rather expensive items that you can obviously feel free to ignore. Or not. Item name is followed by last known price from that vendor (rounded up to the next whole dollar amount). Items higher in importance are marked with an asterisk.

General wants: reloading components, particularly bullets, for .380/9mm/.40/.38/.357/.223/.243/.30-06/.44/.45; reloadable brass would be handy, especially for .357 SIG and .44 Special; 123-type batteries; AR parts and accessories; Beretta and SIG schwag. I made rudimentary databases containing a description of the item, the three best internet prices, two best local prices, average cost, average cost taking in to account other costs like shipping or tax, a picture of the item, and a crude crayon drawing of me enjoying said item. What of it?

Making it web delivered would have been wise, that way I could just email the link to Santa. Bonus would include tracerouting the IPs in the logs to see where he actually was. I don't think they have good broadband in the Artic circle.

I've always been really bad at making wishlists but I'll give it a shot for you guys.

- A decent all-purpose knife for carrying in a pocket. I'm open to ideas here, since I don't know much about knives. Probably partial serration, spring assisted opening would be nice (I want to be able to open it with one hand)...other than that, use your imagination.

- .22 boresnake!

- Mags for a .40 P226 (Mecgar), AR15 (Pmag?), Ruger Mk*1*

- Ammo in .40 or .357 (particularly premium/PD ammo like TAP, Rangers, etc.), .223, 7.5 Swiss, 8mm

- Belt mag holder for single Sig .40 mag, or belt holder for HKS speedloaders for a S&W model 60 .357.

If you're feeling saucy:
- Streamlight TLR-1 (thanks for reminding me, infrared)

Stuff I don't need: reloading stuff (still haven't gotten into that). Open to any other surprises.

That's all I can think of for now. Happy Murdermas everyone.

Guns I own:

Glock 23 .40S&W
S&W 1911 .45ACP
Remington 870 Wingmaster 12ga
Swiss K31 7.5x55 Swiss
Remington 700 in .30-06
Savage MkII-BV .22LR
Savage 93R71 .17HMR
Browning Buckmark .22LR
AR-15 .223/5.56mm
Ruger 10/22

Things I want:

A real job Resume here http://chrisbrennerphoto.com/resume.pdf

Access to a range near Chicago that doesn't suck

I have reloading dies and conversions for .30-06 and .45ACP, I have dies for 5.56 but no press conversion yet (Dillon 550B)

I don't have a brass tumbler or any case prep tools

Primers and powder are in short supply, but shipping on those is half the drat budget so don't worry unless you happen to live in IL and can come in through my chimney.

The scope on my 700 sucks donkey dick, but anything better is way over the suggested limit unless you happen to be rolling in dough or have a spare that you don't want for some stupid reason.

I'm an amateur photographer as well with a Canon Rebel XT, 430EX-II, and a few assorted lenses, anything photo related is cool too.

I'm not going to make a big huge list this year, so surprise me. Hopefully I get a regular as my Santa.

Stripped AR Lower receiver
Snapcaps/practice/dummy rounds in .45 or 12ga or 16ga
Ooh, thought of one: Stickers. Stickers. Stickers. Any and all will be enjoyed.

I don't have much in the way of holsters or other accessories, so mags, mag loaders, speed loaders, etc would be appreciated, in addition to other shooting accessories, like range bags, glasses, ear protection, etc. Though, I think the last two are over the ceiling cap.

A semi-decent mildot scope for a lever action 35-remington rifle. Not expecting sub moa or anything, but a hunting trip is planned next year and i need something to work for medium-short range.

A small-medium sized bug out bag, in a dark color, black or od green.

This is being done differently than in years past and it angers and confuses me.

Also, the $40 in previous years was a suggested amount, period. Some people got more than that, but the point was (and has always been) that people don't get pissed off because some cheapskate only sends them a few bucks worth of garbage. We've never had a price floor, because the general point was "keep it in the $40 ballpark, assholes."

Gunsocks are welcome. The wider the better as they easier fit over scopes and pistol grips. The grey walmart ones work better then the tan / white cheaper than dirt? ones

A nice range bag i can use.. or a sweet pair of electronic hearing protection.

AK tools that fit in the stock .. anything fun and exciting i am open to as well.

or a gun safe that fits a few rifles Targets.. I love everything that comes unsolicited.

I own : Ruger 22/45, ruger 10/22, Mosin 91/30, glock 19, Swiss K31, Marlin 780 something (the .22 mag with 7 round mag one) So neat things for them work as well.

I have a PS3.

Other randomness i would love:

k31 sling
really cool things that you would also like to own. I like a good laugh too.
hard (or soft) rifle or pistol case
8+ rifle gun safe
range bag that can hold some ammo boxes and a few pistols
targets

I realize many things will be outside the normal range of cost, so don't feel obligated to buy anything that is outside your personal budget. I add them just in case i get a goon that happens to win the lotto. Honestly I love getting gifts from a stranger, so I will pretty much be giddy with anything -- or I'll end up shooting it, so its a win either way.

Noted Cyrano4747, OP edited. I organised it based off of the only previous TFR SS thread I could find in the Archive('08) and it was pretty sparse on the details. Like I said before, This is my first TFR SS and as such suggestions are welcome.

The living pipe cleaner

Woo, murder-claus time is here again!

I have a small list of nifty things here:
CZ SP01 18rd magazine (48$)
CZ 75 16rd 9mm magazines (25$)
A .22lr tube mag speed-loader
A shemagh, because they're nifty
A paperback copy of "Get Tough"
A good action flick on Blu-ray (note: I already have Taken, Blackhawk Down, Transporter 1 & 2, and Iron Man)
Brutal Legend for PS3
Left 4 Dead 2 to my steam account
If you're feeling overly generous, I too would like a TLR-1.

edit: ooh ooh ooh! If you're feeling really really nice: wood grips for my CZ SP01 (Fairly sure the 75/85 grips are what I'm thinking of) Here's the CZ store official ones
