What I really want to play is a 3D fighting game with celebrities. Kind of like Celebrity Deathmatch on MTV was but with high resolution character models, and crazy why-the-hell-did-that-just-happen fatalities. It could be like Marvel vs. Capcom with triple team plays (“you can’t have busey, walken, and jerry lewis on the SAME TEAM NOT FAIR I guess what I really want is a broken fighting game with a bad cliché – what are some games you want to see made that would most likely bankrupt a company?

A multiplayer FPS where weapon spawns were random and you don't have any ammo stock, just what you've got in one clip, so you constantly have to change weapons.

That is similar to some of the Arena fights in the various Ratchet and Clank games. You are given a new random weapon every 20-30 seconds, and it is the only one you can use as you fight waves of enemies.

So basically, something very similar to Team Arena Master (TAM) for Unreal Tournament 2004? Yeah, that's my favourite gamemode. You spawn with all weapons but limited ammo, no weapon/ammo pickups on the map.

Battlefield 1863. Make sure it takes place later on in the war so players can use breech loading and repeating firearms. Put in horses, movable artillery/mortars, and commander mode; pretty much a mod of Battlefield 2. Hearts of Iron IV: 1936 - 2003. I understand that HoI is supposed to be more about war than peace; but I would like to see more civil options. A longer time frame to work with to build your empire would be great. Also, add in auto-adjusting difficulty.

A game that combines Jagged Alliance style strategic combat and a compelling story to go with it. Like earlier Fallout games with more attention to the combat system. A weird west setting would be awesome too.

Anyway, the game I'd like to play that no one else would (and no one would want to make on top of that) is one where you go through various genres of games and graphics and work your way backwards to the 4 bit days of gaming. The secret final boss would be a glorified game of Pong. Annoying "new" characters would be at the beginning of the game and disappear as things pro/degress. Actually, since I'm in Fantasy Land here, I'd want a game where you could switch the graphics between 8, 16, 32, 64, and 128 bit modes. The same game would have to be made 5 times but gently caress it, I'll keep dreaming. Dr. Discomfort fucked around with this message at Nov 05, 2009 around 04:37 |

Warcraft, but regressed to it's RTS roots and beyond until it becomes a turn-based tactical RPG. Preferably with 2D sprites that incorporate just a hint of anime so it looks like it's aping Nippon Ichi. Then you just grind the gently caress outta some levels & items, forever.

I've always been enamored with King of Fighters Kyo, which basically takes King of Fighters '97's gameplay and makes it turn-based. I would play the poo poo out of a Street Fighter version of that, or an expanded version of King of Fighters Kyo, like with the roster from King of Fighters '98 UM or King of Fighters 2002 UM or something. It was a lot slower, a little too luck-based, and weird as poo poo, but it had potential.

I want a new Buffy The Vampire Slayer/Angel game. It would be free roam, and have a map the size of GTA: San Andreas. Most of it would be LA, then there would be the wilderness and a few small towns, and then a good sized Sunnydale. You would pick either Angel or Buffy at the start, an see the storyline from that angle. So if you picked Angel, you'd start in LA, working out of the hotel with Wesley and Cordelia, but if you picked Buffy you'd start in Sunnydale with the Scooby Gang. They'd have different play styles too. Buffy would be quicker and stronger, but Angel would be able to heal himself by drinking blood and go into vampire mode that would give him a temporary boost, and he would have more hit points. Angel couldn't go out in the day, but Buffy wouldn't be able to drive, and would have to call Giles to get her around. I would play this game, and nothing but this game, for a year straight if the story was at least 30 hours long, and had a good amount of side-quests.

I'd like to play a 3D RTS where you commanded a fixed number of spaceships with newtonian based movement/weapons. Acceleration rates instead of speed caps, gravity slingshots and aerobreaking, and weapons with varying projectile speeds. I expect it would either turn out to be the RTS version of tribes, or a horrible unplayable mess. The Cosby Mysteries posted:You know the first 20 minutes of Half Life? I'd also play an entire game that was like the start of HL2 up until you get a gun: just a crazy string of narrowly avoiding metro cops, talking to dudes, and just trying to figure out what the hell happened.
