I recently picked up a very old roll of exposed film for $2 at an antique store. Specifically, it was Kodak Verichrome, which was made between 1930 and 1956. I attempted to develop it, and ended up with only two very foggy images on the roll. One of them had a car in it, and I have to think that's probably the best way to get an idea as to how old the film is. Here's a scan:

Like I said, the film was very fogged, but can anybody tell what kind of car that might be?

I think it's a Packard, not sure what model or year though.

That's quite clearly a hardtop - not a convertible.

Yeah, I'm half blind and need glasses, but saw the curve of the side windows as the top of the windshield on a convertible. SO I change my answer to 1950-ish Oldsmobile 88 =)

I went ahead and messed around with the exposure. I also drew lines to where the roofline and the fenders are. hope it helps OP

You are clearly in the 50s at the earliest, that should help you date the photos.

don't think it's a packard, since none of the passenger side windows match up.
