I'm going to go out on a limb here and say we should avoid linking MMA-TV when SAS is public. I'd hate to lose that resource for MMA.

Fyodor over Rogers- Hilarity
Mayhem over Shields- Some kind of karate kick
Mousasi over Sokoudjou- Arm triangle
Werdum over Bigfoot- Armlock
Marloes Coenen vs. Roxanne Modafferi- I was going with Roxy but I saw Coenen do a rolling toe hold so Coenen by TEEP to rolling toe hold

'Tis an ill wind that blows no minds.

So is there any way to catch the undercard, or are those matches just not being televised anywhere?

EDIT: Yeah, this is why I was curious. I was hoping Showtime would be airing them or something.

Hope that someone near cageside brought a camera. The CBS/Showtime EXC and Strikeforce shows always have a ton of filler and promos when fights end early, instead of showing actual fights.

Is it a frog? Is it a toad?

- Fedor by quick armbar. Don't necessarily think the fight will end quickly, but I see Rogers somewhat clipping Fedor or pushing him down and making the mistake of pouncing straight into an armbar.
- Mousasi by round 2 KO. Close first few minutes, then Mousasi turns Sokoudjou into a punching bag.
- Shields by TKO in the waning seconds of round 3 CONTROVERSY ENSUES
- Werdum by decision

The fight's been booked for a couple months now. I don't know what you are talking about in reference to the Fight Nights - those have generally been solid and much more entertaining than some UFC PPV cards.

Could someone please tell me about the women's MMA match? I don't know anything about those two.

Are either of them good? Why does one of them look like she just got out of band camp?

Yes, it is highly unlikely that the man with a strong grappling background could win by submission. Its not like he ever wins matches via submissions.

Its much more likely that they will instead choose to have a lovely loving kickboxing match and Jason Miller wins with the amazing striking he has shown so often.

Jason Miller also has fought literally one dude with grappling skills. He lost.

He might not get subbed but expecting a kickboxing match is kind of retarded, neither of them have the skills. expecting Jason Miller K.O. is even crazier.

I think some of it has to do with the fact that a successful competitive grappling pedigree doesn't always translate into a successful submission game in MMA.

Ive only seen Souza sub all of two guys. Zelg "Rip My leg off please" Galesic and some dude in his first professional fight. I'm not convinced he's the grappling beast in MMA he was in ADCC's

Considering Souza is the only strong submission guy we've seen Miller face, and the fact that Jake Shields has been very successful with submissions in MMA. I have no idea why you dudes think Miller being submitted by shields is laughable.

It's just much more likely that if Sheilds wins it will be by decision. Besides the Jacare fight I remember Miller being completely dominated by GSP and laughing at GSP's sub attempts.

If Miller gets subbed tonight you will look like a genius though.
