Hey Goons! I've got my awesome new Acer Aspire 1410 netbook in black, and the back of the LCD is perfectly flat and smooth, just waiting for something cool to express what a unique and special snowflake I am amongst all the other lame people with laptops at school. Know any good sources for stickers? Is there someone on the forums I should be buying stuff like this from? Or is there something cooler than stickers that I've been missing out on for ultimate customization -- can someone knit me a laptop cozy? Feel free to post picks of your computers too if you've got it customized. Behold your canvas:

I usually get my stickers from Sticker Giant. Their selection is pretty lovely, but otherwise their business practices are acceptable at worst. Quick shipping at reasonable rates in my experience. I'd be thrilled to discover someplace with cooler stickers and patches.

Put an Apple sticker on it. Right in the middle of the lid. Or don't. If you're in college, pop one of those big windshield stickers on it (not the ones that stick from the inside). I don't really know. I don't put stickers on laptops. I put them on Nalgenes like the other cool kids.

I found a sheet of stickers with different eyes/mouths on in a shop and after sticking them everywhere I put the leftovers on my laptop.

My sticker is functional, I have a giant QR code on my laptop (and back of my business cards) so prospective clients / contacts / strangers can just scan and run without having to sit there typing in all the info. It gets a lot of conversations started, when people see my contact info pop up on their phone for the first time its like they discovered water on Mars.

I'm sure the other kids in middle school won't notice whatever you put on your netbook. I mean, I'm sure it's not like they are waiting with baited breath on what you say in homeroom as it is, right? Don't forget to remove your retainer from your mouth before heading off for the bus each morning, too.

They were on clearance at Petsmart, for $.50 a pack. You can get tons of tacky cat stickers at any craft shop, though. Michael's has a huge selection of ridiculous poo poo you can slap on there.

I love those eye/mouth stickers, I have them on my phone/ds/things. :3 I have..3d dinosaur stickers. hellz yeah. Now that Im thinking about it, those 'fuzzy' stickers would be awesome as decoration! Theres also a neopet star sticker..and a jellyfish photo that I took myself from moo.com

No pic handy, but my Acer Aspire One has a tasteful little jolly roger sticker that just about perfectly covers up the Acer logo on the back of the display. I think it looks great on my blue netbook, but it'd look even more boss on a black one. , etc.
