Cal will likely finish 9-3 (Maybe even 8-4 but still not terrible) now that Best is done :/ the loss by Oregon and the lovely play by USC will at the very least help our recruiting

I think either Arizona or Stanford is going to take them. Both of them have great offenses and solid defenses where USC can't get its offense going and it's defense is getting shredded by any offense with a pulse.

You're absolutely right, if the team keeps playing the way they are now. I just think going back to Los Angeles is going to give the team a boost. And hopefully Gerhart is still tired from carrying the ball 40 times against Oregon today.

If college football consisted entirely of 3rd and early 4th quarters, UCONN could go to Pasadena this year. Goddamn do they know how to make it close enough to make the defeat even worse. Still, heart of a champion, never gives up, all that good stuff. 2 points away from beating number 5 in the polls! If they play like they played that second half against Notre Dame they could win comfortably over them. That being said, I know they won't, so hopefully the announcers won't have to mention Jasper Howard and talk about how hard they fought to make the close lose more palatable to the fans. Just whatever you do, UCONN, don't you goddamn figure out a way to lose to Syracuse. And a win over South Florida would really cap this season off nicely. Please, for me, UCONN?
