Read Carr's book 2 years ago (it was sort of a fad at my office at the time), and while it didn't work for most of my co-workers, it did for me. I found the book extremely boring and its tone annoying as hell, and I certainly didn't expect much. But it worked when nothing else hadn't. Worth an honest try, in my opinion. I'm having a bit of a relapse right now (probably has something to do with the fact that my whole life has gone to poo poo recently) and thinking of giving it another go, but I've been putting it off because of how bad of a read it is.
