 Murder By Death

I never really see them mentioned anywhere. Their album "Who Will Survive and What Will Be Left of Them" is a near masterpiece. It's an album about the devil staging a war in an old west town. The best way to describe them is like a gloomy chamber-rock bar band with some apocalyptic vibes thrown in. The vocals are pretty great - kinda moody and smooth. They come up with some pretty special arrangements and are generally pretty unique.
