I'm glad we resolved the problem of people circlejerking over Piuro in the old thread by closing said thread and replacing it with two threads for people to circlejerk over Piuro in.

ImPureAwesome posted:what we need is a deck of mafia players playing cards This is circlejerking, wrong thread. I updated the "Current Games" wiki with the one game I am in that wasnt listed, but I believe Mods should be updating their own games on that list. http://mafiawiki.four-horsemen.com/index.php/Games_List If you are currently running a game, it's your responsibility to maintain the status according to the wiki. It's Ecco's responsbility now to maintain the status in the OP of this thread.

I really don't know much about google wave or how it works, but for what some of you are looking for I want to suggest Pibb: http://www.pibb.com Its a sort half message board, half chat room. You can make different threads and topics, and its live posting like IRC, but it saves everything and when you log back on after leaving it starts you where you left off before and its super easy to set up. You can make your channel and invite people you want, and it sounds like it might work for what people are interested in for scum chat. Not sure if this is what google wave is like, but its an option some people might want to check out.

Hello new thread. Question for guys who play in a bunch of games at once. How and also why?

I find that participating in less than 6 games at a time is dull. I use a RNG to decide my course of action for each new post I make. 1. Coherent response. 2-49. Insult. 50. Indepth research. Not reading my role PMs also helps save time.

Two games at once is my limit, beyond that I can't keep track well enough of everything I should.

I sign up for every single game that appears, the more the better. I then post like a lunatic in every one while not really keeping track of anything that's happening *is winvirus*

soru posted:Two games at once is my limit, beyond that I can't keep track well enough of everything I should. That's where I draw the line, and usually I won't be in two unless one is close to being over. It's so damned hard to keep track of things, and I don't know how people do it. I've been in multiple games before, and I am sure Ecco will recall the time, where I accidentally claimed a role in a game that was actually a role I had in a different game. I can't remember the name of the Game, I know Tokes helped to run it, and it was a two thread game. Xythar and Me In Reverse were each the King of their own thread.

JoseV: Mafia Artisan. Each post lovingly hewn from a single piece of driftwood. Right now I'm only in 1 game but I'm also modding 1, and it's my first time running a game so obviously overextending myself isn't really an option. I think the most I was ever able to handle was 4 but that was definitely too much.

Everyone needs to get through their heads that not posting and lurking are two completely different things and always have been.

It would be easier if lurkers would give some notice that they're about to start lurking, that way we don't think they're just not posting.

For reasons that are mysterious. (nobody knows, and any rumors just raise drama, and this is a no-drama thread)

Not posting is better than lurking if you ask me. I'd rather someone just never posted at all and got replaced than showed up once every 3 days with some snipe that isn't helpful in any way.
