I don't really like M.I.A. or her remixes but I have had this track in my playlist all week: M.I.A. - Internet Connection (Shook Remix) It's just so catchy, no wonder it's been igniting ~the blogosphere~ all week.

I am hugely disappointed by Wolfgang Gartners new track Space Junk. He just posted a preview of it on myspace (click) and it's just uninspired and boring.

Calculon posted:There's this cool thing called Vandroid and the website updated recently. This is such a cool concept. The original tracks are a little too old school for me, however, but I guess that's the point. And the remixes make up for it anyway, by great artists like Fred Falke and Siriusmo no less. ephex posted:I am hugely disappointed by Wolfgang Gartners new track Space Junk. I can totally see what you mean here. I'm a big fan of his crazy, glitchy, epic songs like Hook Shot and Fire Power, but less so of some of his more recent stuff. This one is especially quite different from the Wolfgang I love, but I guess he's a semi-mainstream club producer after all, and he has a niche to fill.

Tell your friend he is friggin' AWESOME. That is some funky, awesome stuff. Bought the CD and downloaded some tracks from their other shorter album. 'Getting on My Mind' and 'Smooth Sailor' melt my brain with their awesomeness.

Yeah i realize it, but the car example is what i expect the biggest system the majority of people will ever use. Anyone playing in a club is not going to need to use 192kbit mp3s, i should hope not at least.

Woo more spam though nowhere near as awesome as MB's ![]() Got a remix in a remix contest at the moment, it's of Metric - Sick Muse and it's sitting in 28th place right now, which is especially disheartening seeing as the #1 sounds like loving j-pop, third place I think is just the original with a house loop behind it, and 6th is like a disney love song version. http://www.indabamusic.com/#!/submissions/show/30541 Motherfuck that. mezzir fucked around with this message at Dec 15, 2010 around 03:37 |

Are there people not bored of that track already? It's repetitive as gently caress and overplayed. Hardly 'go down in history' territory here. It's just another anthem along the lines of 'Put Your Hands Up For Detroit' that will get forgotten about. One only got to 7 on the charts here, not particularly good when the most popular House tracks have been higher, or even number 1 like David Guetta.
