BloodDesk UnderHell posted:I can't wait to see what horrible voice they come up for Trigger this time. This kind of video game goes hand in hand with cheesy voice acting. I for one am hoping for some Koei level voice talent.

After years of playing it I finally get to the end only to have that stinkyhole send me back through the whole loving game a second time to actually beat it. xK1 posted:Judging from this, "Megaman" is a new character for the game, Rockman is the traditional 8-bit one. Why does goofy cover Megaman have a "U.S." in front of his name?

The best Mega Man game is whichever has the least amount of disappearing blocks over spikes / a pit puzzles. Why are we even arguing this? Really though, even the shittiest Mega Man games are a ton of fun and none of them are so graphically lovely that they are unplayable. Let's get back to discussing crazy stuff to be made with the level editor.

pokecapn posted:After buying all the DLC, MM9 and MM10 cost $20 and $18, respectively. Both of these games are way more enjoyable than MM8, a game with no extra difficulty modifiers, no alternate playable characters, no bonus stages, no time trial mode, and no challenge mode, and which cost $27 at launch and would cost $38 in today's money. A lot of people don't care about half that poo poo. Also a lot of people can't handle the difficulty level of MM9. I'm not saying that 8 is better than 9, but it's not hard to understand why people might feel that way.

blackguy32 posted:There is a ton of poo poo wrong with the Anniversary Collection. If you play it on PS2, you have to worry about the mushy rear end analog buttons. On the gamecube, its hosed up controls. The presentation looks like they just slapped some poo poo together. That's pretty much what people do with compilations.

blackguy32 posted:Which is odd, because Megaman X collection was put together much better than the anniversary collection. Actually, every other compilation game I own is put together much better than the anniversary collection. I hear the X compilation was really good, and wanted it at the time. But I have pretty much every relevant game (Mega Man X) in it so I never got it.

quakster posted:Never going to get a 3DS, but hopefully it'll sell. Yeah, I haven't bought a handheld since the Gameboy Colors first came out and as much as I've wanted MML3, there's no way I'm spending any amount of money on a portable just to play it.

Nate RFB posted:Christ people, the DS was only like the best selling system of the decade outside of the PS2. It gets a significant hardware update and an already impressive announced lineup of games, as well as the ridiculously good backlog of DS games, a GB/GBA virtual console, and all you people can talk about is how Nintendo is nickel and diming you. MML3 on the 3DS is a pretty brilliant move and you folks should be glad you're getting a sequel at last anyway. No matter what kind of bells and whistles you want to hype up, it's still a portable gaming device whose only advantage over an actual console is portability. Sorry I'm not a huge loving goon who needs to play video games whenever I leave the house and would rather see a game I've looked forward to for years released for one of the three relevant consoles hooked up to my TV. People aren't even really bitching or freaking out that much, especially since it's a legitimate complaint.
