I first started liking Biscuit Hammer because the protagonist was  and initially chose the 'gently caress this gay earth' path and wished to smash it alongside Sami. The fact that the series turned into the 'cliche' but still kept my interest is why I like it so much. I was more focused on the social growth of a character with that mindset than anything else. Still, before anyone could pull the protagonist out of his 'funk' as it were, he needed someone down as low as he was to connect with.Back to Teppu, we have yet to see anyone even remotely like Natsuo for her to connect with on that sort of level. Which is realistic and just fine. I can't wait for her to lose her first match, and for everyone around her to expect her to break . . . and be shocked when nothing happens aside from a boost in enthusiasm. She has no pride to damage. She just wants a challenge.

Oh man, I remember one of the first chapters having an interview with the creator where judoka/pro wrestler Shinobu Kandori came up. So I guess I should've seen the Kandori expy coming when it switched to the random pro wrestler chick. I get the impression from that and the way the women are presented in general that Moare is/was probably really into joshi puroresu, especially the '90s stuff. Joshi puro was really, really loving popular back in the Zenjo/LLPW days so it makes sense for someone to be influenced by it. Everyone was just so excited at the prospect of Natsuo getting repeatedly punched in the face.  Other than that, the bit over lunchtime with her friend was the best part.How many more chapters do you think it's going to be before the G-girl tournament? Whether it's soon or not is fine by me since it should stay good to read either way; just curious.

Is this the All Rounder Meguru thread? I got tired of waiting on new chapters from Vol 7 when the series is now on Vol 10 so I'm translating it myself. But I've come here to ask, does anyone know what "garo (ガロ) class" means, as in the 48.5kg judo weight class that the judo girl intends to compete in. Am I overthinking it and it's just "girl"? There's also an irrelevant joke I couldn't translate but who cares. Once I figure out that and what fonts to use ch 63 will finally be in english. Might do some "good enough" scans of Teppu too.

Though the coolest name for it is atomweight.
