i remember being at a house show on long island in 1999ish that had ric flair, sting, steiner, DDP and a couple of upper-mid-carders in a match for the title in the main event. One of the funner wrestling matches i've ever seen actually.

Both of the WCW house shows I saw were a blast. While some of the early matches were boring, there were some great matches with upper/mid carders. Also had Sting in the main events at both shows. Check out the cards:
