When you run underneath the coaster on the way to the button that triggers the event, you can carefully climb up the boards and get onto the coaster track without ever hitting the button. There should be some Youtube videos of it, it's kinda tricky.

The gnome mutation made it really easy to get the 'Bridge over trebeled water' achievement. One person running with the gnome three others shooting all the zombies running for them, dodge the tank and vuala.

It makes it easy when the common infected are only going for one survivor, just takes a tiny bit of teamwork.

I think the NM3 fence thing has to do with the distance traveled in the map or something. The last time I played tank, someone on the opposing team started telling his team (alltalk was on) to stay in the open area near the Burger Tank. Sure enough, three of us spawn behind the fence.

Honestly I play TANK! to enjoy. This is a luck of the draw game mode and people who are raging over fairness and trying to win are silly. Thankfully almost every time I've played it, the opposing teams have been very chill and everyone enjoys themselves over alltalk.

It was an absolute meat-grinder. Pits that were navigable in co-op mode became hideous deathtraps when combined with human-controlled smokers and jockeys, entire teams were launched off the first pyramid by charger ambushes, and most players never even made it ten feet out of the saferoom in the ice level.

It was glorious.

Wow Lone Gunman is a really lovely mutation. Apart from the gimmicky "use only one weapon thing" which really isn't THAT impressive and they've already done like 3 other times, it's also only single-player like Last Man on Earth, there's only one Special Infected (Boomer, though there are still tanks and witches), there's a lot fewer zombies, and every hit deals 30 damage by a common and a boomer. I don't even want to bother speedrunning through a map.

Because I don't know, I think I may have been playing on some kind hacked server. Nobody was obviously aimbotting or speedhacking, but there was just a mountain of bullshit that was all aligned against us. Dead Center 1, enemy team has a tank spawn as they reach the elevator, so it is downstairs, and they can just wait for it to die. When our turn comes up, the tank spawns as soon as we walk out of the stairwell into the first hallway. Their Boomers could explode and slime us through solid walls when they weren't even close enough to clip through them partially. My tongue as the Smoker had about half the normal range; Chargers were passing through the entire enemy team when they were all bunched together in a narrow corridor and weren't moving laterally at the time (and everyone saw him pass through them instead of it appearing that way on one player's computer due to lag). I am not sure if the hand truck thingies in the corridor after the alarm room on Dead Center 3 are supposed to incap or just deal damage when the Tank punches them into someone, but I am pretty sure they aren't supposed to just pass through people standing directly on the other side of them without dealing any damage.

If it was just one or two of those things, it would have been lag, or a fluke of bad luck, or normal function of the game that seems to be rigged because you're frustrated. But it was constant, everyone on my team was experiencing it, and all but one person had green ping to the server. Is there some kind of server mod that changes the effectiveness of the Infected depending on which team is which, or was it just an astonishing run of bad luck?

I played One 4 Nine and Haunted Forest. One 4 Nine is decent. I felt it was kinda long but its unique.

There are like 20 - 30 of us and we always play random teams or have captains pick, why would we enter a tourney? Most of us prefer realism over horrible confogl anyway. Also it's not that we're all absolutely awesome (obviously not everyone can be as good as me), just most of the people we play with actually talk about what's going on in the game and ask for help if they're down and react pretty quickly. Nobody really gets mad in our games either, every chat game I've played usually ends with someone raging.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that we're superior to you guys in every way imaginable.

Not really, no. It's just that we've absorbed most of the good players who went in chat, and they no longer go back to you because we are way better at satisfying them.
