I read a post about getting the free gcoins without paying (strictly by doing the surveys). Can we get a list of the ones that we can do that have no subscriptions requirements? They all seem to require a valid mobile number in order to "sub" you in to a monthly fee.

The Peanutlabs surveys are pretty reliable (the free ones highlighted at the top) but the rest are questionable at best in my experience.

It's worse with people who spam you with duel offers until you accept, win by a large margin with their meticulously-equipped team, and then spend the next half-hour getting their friends to harass you about how weak you are.

I'm still wondering how to work in the mercs I want during the course of leveling. At the moment on my musician I have a viking, a swordsman, and a spearman in the front row, my main and an archer in the middle, and a monk and a shaman in the back (level 30s range). I'm going to try to work in an Artilleryman and a BT, but I have no idea who to replace, or even if I should replace anyone.

Well if you have a BT, that means you are 40+ and can have an 8th in your formation.

One spearman by itself isn't that useful, so replace it with the BT and put the arti in. Probably get a witch at 51 to finish off the formation. (until more mercs become available)

I am having a difficult time earning and saving gold...does anyone know any money making secrets other than buying things cheap on the market and selling them high?

whydirt

Gaz Posting Brigade

Honestly if you're willing to spend $10-15 real cash, just buy some Atlas Ore or a Blessing License and sell it through MyStore. That'll give you 200-400 million gold, which should be more than sufficient to last you until you can start earning decent money from instanced dungeons and jackpotting boxes into other items.

Ways to earn cash at lower levels without spending real life money:

  • Trade books with Goncourt
  • Trading post once each day (requires a decent amount of startup cash to be profitable)
  • Open equipment boxes and sell the equipment on the market or to Columbus near Barcelona
  • Reset a merc recruit quest (don't do Exo) and sell the summon (or small marionettes if you run Witch)

The other key is to not waste money you don't need to spend, such as avoid recruiting tons of extra mercs beyond what you need for your main formation early on - it'll spread your equipment budget pretty thin. I'd personally avoid trying to train up any equipment crafts early on - most of them are money sinks until you hit end-game equipment levels.

One thing I found while leveling up new mercs is +4/5 Osiris weapons can sell for millions more than they cost to make by buying the boxes & enchant stones separately. It's something you could check the market on to see if still happens.

Just looking at the market for some cheap upgrades usually brings in money when you sell the old stuff. There's always some lucky guy that got a 15 +5 craft and either swarmed the market or is selling cheap because he's not relisting them.

I might have it saved somewhere still, but they might of updated it.

They almost certainly nerfed whatever was good to JP into at the time, so you need to find or ask whatever is good to JP into now.

JPing is pretty simple:

Step 0: Turn on JP license
Step 1: Get the item you want to JP in one of the first couple slots - this part might take some time if you're trying to JP one of the upgrade crystals since they only appear with Shadow Dungeon mobs
Step 2: Get as many different equipment boxes in the rest of the slots as you can (Valley of Oblivion is pretty good to get Babylon through Divine, but you'll likely need to hit up minibosses to get them all)
Step 3: Fill up the box slots with as many boxes as you can
Step 4: Take Jackpot Challenge!

question, I played this game for a few weeks at best a while ago, I think I had a cannon main and I am DLing right now, I'd like to be very active in pvp and was wondering if I should just remake a new char or stick with the old one. I remember pretty much nothing about the game atm since it was a while ago.

Just reinstalled (although the first time I played wasn't with goons) after trying out some other games. Atlantica really is the best F2P MMO out there. In as Xoc, but I'm just putzing around doing lowbie stuff. I do need a mentor, though.

Are the Rank D mercs available from an NPC somewhere, or was that only in the tutorial stages? I need a shaman, and don't really look forward to walking all over Southeast Asia for one.
