I love Adventure Time, which to be honest revels in the fact that it's completely loving stupid, but I also adore The Magnificent Ambersons. It's not mutually exclusive. I tend to watch what fits my mood, and that can range from Dark City to Metropolis to Sesame Street. No, just the style of jokes, sparse audio, pace, and often questionable voice acting. There are tropes and directorial decisions aimed squarely at viewers with limited cultural exposure and I don't care for them. I am no longer the target audience. This is not to say it's bad content, or that my tastes are somehow better than anyone who can still watch Pinky & The Brain and enjoy it.

I just chose that because it's a Prinny from Disgaea, so I thought it was some fan's mashup idea. Also, Pinky and The Brain hasn't exactly stood up on rewatching (way too much slapstick and "we're genetically engineered mice" jokes). But Freakazoid is still as funny as ever, in my opinion.
