inktvis posted:I remember one of the major chain bookstores on the main street sticking an author outside on a wooden folding table in the middle of all the foot traffic, like some sort of terribly lonely sausage sizzle. All through the middle of the day the guy just sat there quietly as thousands of people brushed past with complete indifference with nary a staff member in sight. Can only assume it was just too much bother to have him inside, cluttering up the merchandising floor-plan. It sounds like that gentleman needs better representation.

Holy Cow posted:I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but I have a question about Stephen King's It. Is there any reason It claims It's name is Robert Grey? It just seems such a random, normal name. I always thought of it similar to Randall Flagg. IT is just a personal moniker for something that should have no name, or at least no name that we would understand. (i do understand that it is different for RF, I was just liking it to him)

Before high school I had done book reports on Lord of the Flys, Catcher in the Rye, and Silence of the Lambs. I do not think my teachers understood.

I'm looking for the name of a book/author/genre. The only book I know is about Conjoined twins during the Holocaust. It is suppose to be extremely over the top/ridiculous. Any help? Nevermind: rear end Goblins of Aushchwitz by Cameron Pierce

Does "The Killing of Worlds" end the Succession story line? As was mentioned in the 52 books in a year thread, Westerfield has a lot going on with his YA books, is it likely he would ever finish this series or come back to it?

Southern Vulcan posted:Hi all, I'm wondering if you all can help me with something. I'm looking for an out of print book and so far google, eBay, and the rest haven't been helpful. It's called "The Other Side of Peace" basically, it's just a collection of Israeli/Palestinian propaganda posters. I don't know the ISBN number and I can't even find a single mention of it on the web. Any idea where to look next? What was the right title?
