Nick,

everythign from 2 yards to 200, but nothing beyond 200. Some small stuff at 100 may be seen, though( head shots). He can use the saiga, but since only two other guys are using them they will shoot with everyone else and all will shoot in tactical, the saigas will take a 10 second or so penalty for every reload. I have to look what we finally agrees to. It was the only way to level the playing field. round counts will be out on the web in the next few weeks. we are going to try and finalize stages thsi coming weekend.

Sundays are my only day off and are heavily booked for the future; it will be very difficult if not impossible for me to make it out to Topton beforehand.

Also my days off are subject to sudden cancellation at say, 2am sunday morning.

I'm going to try to set something up, though.

I'll be clear in that I do the same thing on a much, much smaller scale, because buying guns is fun and nice guns are fun, but that guy really took it to the extreme.

All I can say is that a $1350 bipod better give a pretty drat good blowjob.

Hey do you still need a 3rd? I might have my life in some kind of order by then where it'll be feasible. Anyone know where the nearest airport would be or how much a hotel would cost? Is there even room still?

X-Fives are much better competition guns than a normal 226.

SLPs aren't anything that special in the shotgun world.

Hey, jagoff, way to invite us.

I feel buthurt that Lord Commissar was supposed to come to the area to live it up roman style, and he backed out. I'm... just not ready to love again.

but sure, lets all hang out friday night in conshohocken

Saturday is fine with me, time? I'll probably still drive my own car since my wife might decide to pop a human she has been storing in her uterus that day, just my luck.

Convert it to DA/SA. Or DAK if it's new enough. Or throw in a lesser hammer spring, if it hasn't been done already.

i'll bring almost the whole arsenal for enjoyment purposes (and i need to sight in a few things on irons).

I'll be up there at 9:30 or so. Just call my cell and I can get you visitor passes, but be there before 1 (or is it 2?) because the office closes and you'll be SOL.

I'll bring what I assume to be my three gun three guns, as well as something silly. Maybe my belt-sanded plum AK, I still don't have it sighted in right.

Roundboy
Oct 21, 2008

that early is fine for me.

I'll have the ar, the tantal, and the marlin. The mosin is coming because i *really* want to ding 200 yards with it. Maybe even the k31 because i got trunk space. I would rather have with and not use, then wish i brought.

Anything else? Targets? Hangers? etc?

Foghorn : no, all my friends are pretty busy tonight anyway, and I might as well build up points with the wife since i'll be out all day.

Suggestions for drills? I noticed that I had trouble switching plates with the pistol, but I can work on that at the local range too. But I also want to run some rifle work next time too, as I need to manage recoil better.

I was mentioning this on Saturday, but all of rear end needs to know.

Topton Intel

Lat year I was up on the range messing around during some three gun competition. At the time, the 25-75 yard range and 100 yard range were open to general members; there was no competition occurring. All pistols were closed. The 200 yard range had a large plywood blind erected in front of it with five 6"x6" holes for shooting positions, both low and high. Two were for off-hand (left) shooting.

I wouldn't be surprised if it made a reappearance. Or maybe it won't. But it's a good idea to practice shooting left handed.

Totally TWISTED
Sep 13, 2005

Also, angels.

I'm not going to the event ( ) but since I am left-handed would I then have to shoot right-handed more times than right-handed people had to shoot left-handed? If so that's gay as gently caress. Because obviously otherwise I would win.

i don't know if this was ever discussed, but does topton do a course like those posted by sinistral rifleman ?

not double dare type poo poo, but running around barrels, etc to get into shooting position, or is it just "walk up to the line, shoot the 5 targets, avoid the no shoot" ?

I think that's what the zombie shoot is going to be - some movement.

Also, the PA State Rifle match they held there had you moving around fences and shooting past blinds, etc..

Sat is out for me since its GLOCK DAY at my local range, and that is when i am jumping in for 1/2 price membership. Plus it looks like rain on sat in topton.

Sunday is the better day. But if you really need sat, I can most likely get there. Standard disclaimer: my wife is going to pop any day, so I reserve the right to not show up or leave early since we are having a baby in the kiddie pool in the living room.

Personally i would like to devise some drills and such. I had good luck setting up a bunch of paper plates and attempted to double tap them to work on quick sight takeup. Also my rifle craves targets. (i'll leave the gong killer k31 at home)
