So, I've been kicking around this campaign idea since about forever. In Thaliost, the White Arch Bridge was a huge artery of trade between Thaliost and Rekkenmark. When it was blown up, House Orion lost a major Lightning Rail line. It put a permanent dent their profits in the area, with a much larger slice of the business going to House Lyrandar. Years after the Last War ended, House Orion finally managed to fork over enough favors to get the Twelve, Karrnath, and Thrane on board with the plan to rebuild it. They argued that it would greatly increase trade, and it would be a symbol of rebuilding after the Last War. The Twelve handpicks a few scions from different houses to lead the project. If they pull it off, they'll be famous around the Five Nations and get a large amount of prestige for their house. Everyone's happy, right?

Well, House Lyrandar drags its feet on just about everything, barely putting up a pretense of cooperation. Which is a problem, since until the bridge gets fixed, they're pretty much the only way to move between Thaliost and Rekkenmark. While Karrnath and Thrane are on board 100% (...ish, since there are still people who hate the other in both nations), Aundiar, who originally owned Thaliost until the Thranes kicked their rear end, are more than willing to gently caress up the rebuilding process just to be spiteful. Toss in Breland, who don't really care either way, but want it to take as long as possible so it will distract the other three and make them sink resources into a long, long project. And that's not counting all the citizens of Thaliost who still think of themselves as Aundairan citizens who are going to be contrary and spiteful just because.

I've been debating between trying to run it IRL or PbP. But, the more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards PbP. It would probably be starting around mid-May.

Whelp, it's up in PbP recruitment for anyone who is interested. Now let's just hope I don't gently caress this up.
