After this was posted in the PHIZ webcomics thread, it suddenly dawned on me that the wizard thief who turns himself into a cat by chanting "Pancake Pancake Pancake" is a reference to one of the show's artist's cats.

Good lord this owns. Knowing that people like this are in charge of making this show is a wonderful thing. And to think that the whole show takes place in a post-apocalyptic world filled with mutants is almost more than I can stand. Can't wait for the next episode. I'm pretty sure the preview has the only crotch shot I've ever found even slightly amusing.

Apparently, "Dungeon Masters" just the other week got almost as many viewers as the premiere episode. That's astounding. The show consistently gets about 2 million viewers for new eps. When you consider that this is marketed towards kids, that's an enormous number of people, it seems to me.

I'm pretty sure that Dungeon has the absolute angriest anyone has ever said the phrase "get on my swan." Thank god for on demand since it seems like I'm always busy with something whenever the show is usually on.

Holy Christ, do you still work on venture brothers as well? Because you just may the most awesome career path in the history of mankind. I love this show so hard. The original teaser commercials with the live action boy in his Finn getup really turned me off from giving the show a try. Thankfully my kids watched it enough that I got sucked in. You haven't lived til your three year old daughter rubs her butt on her nine year old brother's head and sings " pootin' on NEPTR to the max" Edit: just saw your blog about leavin' VB to go to Adventure Time. I totally take back my criticism of the fart jokes early in the season. Every once in a while now I think of Jake slow-mo chanting "POOOOOOTS OOOON NEWWWWWWWWTS" and I crack up. You seriously have the best job, IanJ.

Put me in the "almost didn't watch this because of the live-action commercials", but I loved the original short enough to give it a chance. Also, the free copy of Trouble in Lumpy Space on iTunes helped. Another thing that almost turned me fof to this were the refular commercials showing short clips that just seemed completely random out of context. They had Mannish Man flexing for no reason, the "owowowOWOWOWOW" worm, and something else I can't remember. The only one that worked for me was the candy asking Finn if he had a girlfriend, and the other going "Ohmigod, I can;t believe you just said that." That actually made me laugh. e:Also, I can't seem to find a proper download anyhwere for "Island Song". I need it on my MP3 player for times I need to chill the gently caress out. I went to the girl's MySpace page, but the "Buy" button next to the song isn't active, so I can't even give her money for her lovely song.
