Adventure Time is just too great. So far there have been a few eps that didn't really click with me (like the Jiggler) but when it's good it's so, so good. And it probably has some of the best music in a kids' show since Yo Gabba Gabba.![]() Plus, George Takei as Ricardio the Evil Sentient Heart was probably one of the most inspired celebrity cameos ever. ![]() If you're not watching it: WATCH IT

If they decide to make an Adventure Time video game, what would you want it to be? I'm mixed between either an RPG, a Zelda-liek game, or a beat-em-up.

What would kick rear end beyond all measure is if it was a Lucasart-style graphic adventure like "Sam and Max Hit the Road". Though an RPG or Zelda-style adventure would do alright.

I think the game would work really well as a Psychonauts adaptation. All you need is Finn's Hero Sword, the game could be split into levels by kingdom. The only problem is that we'd probably get some sort of self-referential fuckfest where it's all recurring characters and nothing really new.

A Metroid style explore poo poo platformer with a single hub world that leads to several dungeons like with lots of cool abilities to beat the crap out of science cats, tiger barfing frogs, pants stealing little girls, and battle cubes.

I guess the budget is cheap enough that they make a decent turnaround compared to cartoons which take 6-9 months of constant production to barely get a season. I'm sure Destroy Build Destroy and Dude, What Would Happen are filmed in like a week.

I don't know. I thought it was pretty funny that most of their live action shows were canceled in like a month.

Well, I can understand the business behind making live action shows. With the economy on the rocks everyone is tightening their belts. The live action shows are cheaper and easier to make than the animated ones which have long production schedules. The live action stuff isn't as exciting, but it keeps the lineup fresh. I bet when the market makes an upturn everything will be back to normal. Or not. Who knows? Maybe CN is run by nothing but cheapskates.

Its stupid for a few reason. After a few decades there got to be a pretty good library of cartoons. Enought to fill a whole channel 24/7. I know alot of them are owned by turner and H&B. Then they went for making their own shows H&B became Cartoon network studios. Now its original shows that are cheaper hence these lovely shows.

The live action shows aren't nearly as irritating as Johnny Test which was obviously designed by experts to be the worst cartoon ever made.

I still can't get over the fact that a guy overheard me talking about Adventure Time, told me it was a poo poo show, and said Johnny Test was OK in comparison. Also, I think Cartoon Network is trying to be what Nickelodeon was in the 90s, with live-action shows that don't really accomplish anything, but are trying to keep with today's viewers with ADD (Is Destroy Build Destroy even anything besides, more or less, the part of MythBusters where they say "gently caress it" and blow up whatever myth they were trying to bust?). I don't know exactly how to put it, but they're pretty much getting it entirely wrong.

This really is the best cartoon that's come out in a long while. I've watched just about all the episodes that have been aired. Evicted/Wizard is probably the best combo, but I just saw Boom Boom Mountain, because that was awesome. The reason behind Finn's helping people was amazing.
