Songbird, Songbird, see him fly
Drop the children from the sky
When the young ones misbehave
Escorts children to their grave

This is goddamned terrifying.

What the gently caress. Seriously, that was one of the most absurd episodes of this show I've ever seen.

I just noticed that in Princess Cookie, you can see Goliad and Stormo in the background for a bit, still in battle.

Another one of PB's villainous actions. They are locked in battle forever.

Now that I think about it, it's kind of hosed up that PB brought a being into existence for the sole purpose of sacrificing itself waging an endless battle that it cannot win.

Does anyone know if that was a reference to something? It looks oddly familiar to me but I can't really place it.

Edit: Holy poo poo, just noticed Finn and Jake in the background.

King Worm could have just showed up a second time. It's not like their house changes too often

What I was thinking. It all makes more sense as a callback reference to Evicted than as an elaborate premonition.

Holy poo poo.

Well, that's certainly going to be interesting.

Alledgedly the character Tiny Tina in Borderlands 2 sings the Buff Baby/Baby Finn song, I am trying to find some proof but I'll have to share it when I do.

I know what you're talking about because when I got to that point it was the first thing I thought of, but it's not exact.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna get this one. Any suggestions for text?

The main irony is that the episode isn't even about shipping, really, because Finn wasn't messing with characters, but actual living things. It wasn't wrong because he was trying to see what would happen if he paired people off, but because he was destroying people's lives in the process. In terms of fandom rage, how is this generating more than the all-just-a-fanfic ending of Fionna and Ca-oh, wait, never mind.

(I'm also laughing because they keep insisting that Marceline/Bubblegum is canon and getting angry that it didn't directly pander to the base in that regard. They are, of course, ignoring that even if the producers wanted to show it in this episode, I don't think CN is quite so progressive yet that they'd be allowed. It's an interesting thought, guys, but be reasonable here)

Did they ban the original Fiona and Cake or any of the flame princess episodes?

They definitely banned the first Fionna and Cake episode, but I don't know about any of the ones with Flame Princess.
