CloseFriend, I'll give you the Rocky Horror Picture Show, since it's the goddamn Rocky Horror Picture Show. Oh boy, there are a LOT of famous movies I've never seen: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - I've seen the other three and loved them to death (well, with the exception of Crystal Skull but that's a given), but for some reason have never seen this one. Inception - I've been putting it off, simply put. 2001: A Space Odyssey - I have no idea what this movie's about other than it's in space and there's weird lights or something. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - I have a bad problem of liking Westerns without actually watching any Westerns. The Lord of the Rings - In case you haven't figured it out, I'm pretty bad at this "watching good movies" thing. Untouchables - I've always wanted to see this movie, but I've never actually watched it. As I said, really bad at watching good movies. The Godfather - help me 3:10 to Yuma - Like 2001, I have no idea what this movie's about except it's popular. King Kong - As in, the original one. I've seen plenty remakes, but I've always wanted to watch the very first. Tron - As a massive video game nerd, I feel obligated to see this movie. Wow, after compiling that list, I'm honestly surprised I've seen all six Star Wars movies. Experienced moviegoer I ain't.

I enjoyed Soylent Green even though I knew the twist, so I'll give you that one. As for King Kong, it wasn't quite as great as I hoped it would be, but that's probably mostly due to the fact that I'm spoiled by more advanced tools than black and white and puppets. Despite that, I still had a blast watching it and I feel the Monster Movie buff in me just got a lot more valid for watching it. Great film all around, 7/10. Psycho - I'm not the hugest fan of Slasher movies, but this one's a classic so I'd be willing to give it a shot. Tron - As a massive video game nerd, I feel obligated to see this movie. ProfessorClumsy posted:You have to write something about the drat film, not just say that you've seen it. I will start probating people who ignore this. Whoops, sorry about that. I'll watch that from now on.

CloseFriend posted:Terminator 2: I saw it as a kid, but I remember so little (and I was in a room with people who never shut up in front of or away from movies) that I don't feel right saying I've "seen" it. T2 is one of my favorite movies of all time, so I'll give you that one. I just got around to watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and (unsurprisingly) I absolutely loved it. Sean Connery stole the show for me, his interaction with Indy was excellent and he filled the role of Indy's partner much better than Short Round and what's-her-face did (although I would have to call it a tie between him and Marion). I still don't know why it took me so long to watch this one, but I'm so glad I finally did. 127 Hours - I'm waiting for the DVD release because I'm lazy. It's coming out March 1st though, and that's not long at all. Inception - I've been putting it off, simply put. 2001: A Space Odyssey - I have no idea what this movie's about other than it's in space and there's weird lights or something. Considering their track record, I have no reason to believe this isn't good. Tron - As a massive video game nerd, I feel obligated to see this movie.
