My dad has a Thompson Contender with a few barrels, I shot it with a .45 barrel on it. Seems kinda dumb but I guess its cool, I just don't see much of a purpose for one, for me personally.

I have a coworker that shot his first bull moose with a .308 barrel at 250 yards. My uncle had one with a .30-06 barrel he used for hunting.

Local fudd shop has a .44 Mag barrel but they want $250 for it which seems excessive, considering it doesn't come with a fore-end or anything.

Although .308 is kinda wasted in such a short barrel. Get one in 500s&w or something like that.

Cat: Does this include top-break revolvers? Old Smiths and H&Rs are also loving awesome. EAA also import(s/ed) a single-shot from Baikal, but really, Thompson is the gold standard of fuckoff huge single-shots. You can find them in most larger Fuddshops.

Comedy non- option: SBR an H&R single-shot rifle.

About the price : no loving idea. I guess you could compare with gunbroker, but from what I understand a lot of sellers on gunbroker also gouge up their prices a little bit.

As for how it works, this should answer your questions.

From what I'm given to understand, the .45 ACP modded Webleys wear a bit more than the .455 Webley models. I know *I'd* be putting down a down-payment on one should it happen to show up at $650 or so, especially if I could sleaze it down by a hundred or so, but that's me, looking at what it costs to feed my .38 S&W Webley.... y'all might check both the prices of .455 and replacement cylinders/reloading gear first.

It actually looks like they've been "planning" to release a paperback version (15 years after the first edition) since sometime last year. They haven't yet, though, and even if they do they still have a projected price of $30 which I'm pretty sure is what hardcovers were going for when they were in-stock.

So...what would be the proper way to go about shipping a rifle to someone in another state. I know it would have to go a licensee (be it an actual dealer or a C&R holder - this rifle would qualify for the latter), but as far as actually shipping it, how would one go about doing so?

From the research I've done, it's apparently possible to ship through the post office, but would I have to declare what I'm shipping? And is there any specific shipping stuff I would have to ask for (registered mail seems par for the course, but is there anything else?).

I guess my main question is, how do you dealer and C&R folks go about shipping stuff?

Hey, buddy, welcome back...we'll see if we can't get you serviced this time around.

Make sure the front sight is what is clear and in focus, the rear sights and your target will be blurry.

Then make sure everything is aligned properly:

Pull trigger. (PS don't flinch)
