 Love this thread. Love these dogs.Here's an old picture of Elvis after we brought home a kitten. She was an annoying little bitch, but he was very tolerant.  Good dog. Here's a more recent picture. He's old and lazy. And really dumb. He might be the only golden retriever who never figured out how to fetch.

This is Clark:  Click here for the full 804x643 image. He is a mystery lab mix. He was rescued, along with his brother Lewis, as a young puppy. Later he was adopted by my parents. A couple times a year he gets a week or so of being spoiled nearly to death. This curiously tends to coincide with my visiting him and my parents.  Click here for the full 952x851 image. He is very pretty and knows it. (There are some theories that he's actually a black hole covered in fur. No light can escape his doggy shape.)  Click here for the full 1280x1024 image. See that wire thing on the right? That's the door of Clark's crate. See the dogbed, two blankets, and old bath mat that Clark is lying on? Those were, a few moments prior to this photograph, in his crate. I was the only human in the house. I was sitting at the kitchen table, immediately behind the camera. Clark decided he needed a better view of me, but also wanted to be comfortable (and knock his head against the doorway). So he did this, and when I looked over and cracked up he gave me the above look: "What?"
