lovely phone picture but my dog loves these bones. I hate them because they get gooey when she slobbers all over them and then I have to wash the sheets. She also pushes the comforter/sheets all the way down to the end of the bed, always.

Eww you let her have a chewey in your bed? We have special dog towels for that at our house. Our little dog likes to get under the covers, though the big one usually sleeps at the foot of the bed. The other night they decided to switch places though which was pretty :3:

Here's one of my favorite pics of the big one, though it is a repeat:

Let? No.

But when we first give her one, she doesn't eat it...it took her I think a week and a half to finally start eating this one.

She waits until we aren't at home. And her pushing the stuff off the bed is about an everyday occurence.

Ahh, I see. Chewies are a closely supervised activity in our house for exactly that reason--they get to work on them for a while, then they get taken away.

Aww, the merle coloring reminds me of my poor departed Jelly Bean.

She was my wife's dog before she and I met; I never knew her when she was this little.

She loved being outside in the sun.

Also being inside looking out the window. Basically just wanted to be with her people.

She died a little over three years ago of lymphoma. She was only about seven years old. She was a very good dog and I miss her a lot.

Picture I snapped of my dads dog over Thanksgiving. She was so excited that we took a walk down the ravine at my dads place. She loves climbing up and down the slopes.

Reminds me of my previous dog. My wife and I were at a mostly-wooded park with her years ago. We were at the top of a slope that turned out to be much steeper than we realized, so we decided to not go down that way. The dog had other ideas, however, and charged over the edge. She wasn't seriously injured, but had to be carried back to the car (all 75 lbs of her) and had a bad limp for a couple weeks. A very sweet dog, but God was she dumb.

I believe this is due to the fairly common condition known as "being a terrier."

What do you know, I have a dog named Loki also. She's a rat terrier, and despite her gender Loki is a perfect name for her (pretty sure Loki disguised himself as a woman to trick Thor or Odin once or twice anyway though so whatever). If she wants to sit where the other, much bigger dog is sitting, she'll run to the door and bark. When the big dog follows suit, she'll run back to the couch and sit there looking all smug.
