Does anyone know what size foam would be good for transporting the infinity minis? I think 1 inch trays will be perfectly fine for infantry but I think it's too small for any TAGs. Would 1.5 inches work for them?

Id prob go with 2 inch trays for TAGs, they tend to have a lot of aerials and other poo poo that stick out

Before you do that, did you check the miniaturemarket.com page? I know they were firesaling their stuff, but it sounds like most of it is gone

Hey guys, after looking at my pricing on infinity stuff, Ive realized that I can order it for you guys at a 22% off retail.

Now that miniaturemarket is basically sold out, Im cheaper than thewarstore.

So that being said, I am putting together an infinity order. Anyone who wants anything, email me at paint.vagrant@gmail.com and I will give you a price quote. This source also sells taban, avatars of war, MERCS, pulp city, malifaux. I can get any of those.

The cardboard buildings look really good. I might try to do buildings that way instead of out of styrofoam and cereal boxes from now on.

Also, I have no idea if it still exists, but back in the day we had a huge thread on the Infinity forums dedicated to finding toy cars/helicopters/etc. at the right scale for use in Infinity.

Try making them out of plasticard, just build up layers of it on top of each other. You can use printed plasticard sheeting as well, the stuff that looks like steel sheets or tile or whatever. The end result is like this:

HOLY poo poo

Just found this on the official forum, some dude in australia basically rewrote the entire rulebook with a better layout, including the HS book as well.

Check it out and let me know what you think, on first glance it looks WAY better

Do you pin their feet into the plasticard then? I thought about doing that but some of their feet are tiny, like the female Tiger Soldiers model.

Yeah I do. However, on a model with really tiny feet, I sometimes leave part of the tab attacked to the feet and then cut the plasticard so it fits. It works better than trying to pin a tiny foot.

Another option is to put a layer of plasticard on both sides of the slot, then put the tabbed model in the slot, filling the small gap with putty or another sideways layer of plasticard or something. Thats definitely faster than pinning a bunch of feet.

I don't know if I love or hate that I can price out 200 point armies for like 70 bucks. It's making it difficult not to give into my "MUST PLAY EVERY FACTION" feelings, and I also know that the more armies I have, the easier it will be to demo the game to other people.

On the other hand, I gotta assemble and paint all this stuff.

Thanks for posting that re-ordered rulebook, PV. It's making this a whole lot easier on me.

There's a whole lot of potential in this system for incorporation into other squad-based combat for RPGs. I think I might someday run a Shadowrun campaign with Infinity rules for combat. It seems like they might actually be able to be smashed together.

Heh. Maybe I should try playing the actual game first.

I have been eyeing this line for a while, the model count seems to normally be kept low, and even if I cant find people to play with, the models are just too awesome to resist.

I picked up the coolest looking Pan O they had in stock at miniaturemarket, and I must play Pan O so that I can run This Guy

I bought the Aquila Guard with shock CCW/HMG, and the x2 pack of Akalis(Sikh Commandos) with Combi-Rifle and HMG.

I guess I need some kinda regulars? I figure the next batch I buy I'll pick up off PV, can't beat that 22% off.

At the moment I'm just thinking small layout changes so the example text lines up with the diagrams properly. Gonna see if I can add some mouseover tags to some of the more acronym-dense paragraphs, too, since that's one of my bigger problems with the rules as written.
