That's how everyone's done it for some time now. Hell, even The Last Airbender did that.

That is the obvious example, yeah. Do I remember you mentioning Tiger and Bunny somewhere? That's probably one of the best examples of the modern trend for designs that allow the leveraging of CG in detailed action scenes.

Actually, some Tiger and Bunny gifs could be pretty boss.
