Apocadall posted:EDIT: Watching the video posted for it you can tell they're using a lot of 3D animation (still well detailed) to handle a lot of the really intense scenes instead of traditional animation. That's how everyone's done it for some time now. Hell, even The Last Airbender did that.

That's probably one of the best examples of the modern trend for designs that allow the leveraging of CG in detailed action scenes. Actually, some Tiger and Bunny gifs could be pretty boss.
