Putting you guys on notice, I'm thinking about selling my current sets to help raise my savings for my trip to Australia. I've not fully made my mind up as I'd hate to have to give up my only Legos after my Dad sold boxes full of my classic childhood sets when I left home, but here's a list of whats could be up for grabs should I go through with it:

7784-1 The Batmobile Ultimate Collectors' Edition
8654-1 Scuderia Ferrari Truck
7634-1 Tractor
6299-1 Pirates Advent Calendar 2009 (Contents Only)
8690-1 Toa Onua (Bionicle)

Australian news:

Looks like we've finally got series 4 of the minifigures! I got a Mad Scientist and a Geisha couldn't feel any Hazmat Guys, though I really wanted one.

It's also mid-season sale time:

- Myer has these sets discounted, and all board games including Lego ones are 25% off (until 1st May)
- Target has 20% all Lego sets (offer ends today 13th April)

I picked up the Creator Sonic Boom Set 5892 for AUD$48 from Target. Wish it was pay day I would have picked up Slave 1 and Brick Daddy's Space Limo too.

Finished.

I was surprised at how big it turned out, it fits 2 minifigs in the cockpit, unfortunately there's no room for helmets or hair but if you take out the seats it could easily accommodate the required headroom.

I'm sure you're mistaken! I see boats, jets, jetskis, bikes, dune buggies, a helicopter that shoots snakes, but no airship!

Ninjago is the one theme that has me going every time I look at it.

If you look at the small round picture under the boat it appears to transforms into some kind of airship.

I would loose myself in those catalogue scenes as a kid, they were so captivating. I really wanted those 12v lights to light up my own creations in that comforting glow. I had sets 6480 and 6481 which helped but the battery boxes were pretty hard to conceal.

edit: ^^snap bro

This was my post-christmas pyjama build. Again I also remember it being much more epic than it is in reality:

The big dragon head is a little bit

Today I grab another Series 6 bag, had a quick squeeze on the way to the checkout and felt the telltale skirt piece, I assumed I'd snagged the Statue of Liberty... nope, Flamenco Dancer.

The Sonic Boom set is an amazingly fun build and it's huge when built. I managed to pick it up for $50 (AUD) in a sale at Target last year so I'm sure you'll be able to find it cheap somewhere.

Failing that I'd go with the Lex Luthor set, although I've not got it, it's definitely one of my next purchases based on how cool it looks for $20.

I bought the valentines heart kit from the Lego store a few years ago. I built it first and wrote "You complete me" on it then took it apart, gift wrapped the pieces, and gave it to my girlfriend so when she'd completed the build the message would be displayed.

Good job she likes puns and Lego.

Dug out my 8654: Scuderia Ferrari Truck today and all the stickers had started peeling and become brittle, which resulted in them cracking into tiny red flakes that stuck to everything in my Lego tub.

Has anyone got any tips to remove the bits and remaining stickers efficiently, or will I just have to continue tediously picking off all the flakes and getting them stuck to my fingers and clothes?

That's one of my favourite old bricks, I have 4 from the Galactic Mediator, helped me do great things with MOCs as child before I even knew what a MOC or SNOT was.
