Lou, your latest episode had me guffawing way too many times to count. But it also had me going "awwwww" when you read that porn fan's comment defending Ariella that said "I don't see perfection when I look in the mirror so I don't expect it in the movies I watch. She looks fantastic." I hope you make a return to those forums.

I am REALLY starting to get addicted to Race Wars, Kurt Metzger and Sherrod Small's podcast. They have the best loving guests on (Neal Brennan, Dave Attell, Guy Branum, for 3 recent examples) and cover some really good topics, it's never boring to listen to. Plus, Kurt Metzger is definitely my favorite comedian right now. He's just so loving hysterical, I can still listen to Kurt Metzger Talks To Young People About Sex and start laughing myself into breathless tears at the Forrest Gump stuff.

Newest Fofop has Wil Anderson, Dave Anthony, and Gareth Reynolds. It's fantastic hearing Wil and Gareth hyperactively bouncing things off each other, doesn't seem like Dave can quite keep up though.

I'm getting (mildly) sick of Dave Anthony, and I never thought I'd say that because I love WTR so much. But there are times when his laugh sounds incredibly forced, and the smugness in his voice can be off-putting, especially when he's talking about something he doesn't really know that much about.

I did really enjoy The Dollop after Gareth joined on, but then I lost interest once they switched to historical topics rather than contemporary ones.

Haven't listened to the new WTR yet, but I'm glad to hear it's just a break and not something more serious. The title scared me.

I like Dave a lot, I even met them both after Starfish Circus this year and they were cool as heck. I agree that his laugh sounds forced, at least on the Dollops, but I also don't think Gareth is that funny. It also seems like the Dollop is like 15 minutes too long sometimes, I couldn't finish the Andrew Jackson episode.

I never set out to be weird. It was always other people who called me weird.
Joe Mande just launched a Kickstarter, asking for $1 million to make the "Million Dollar Podcast." Unlike Todd Glass's kickstarter, I'm pretty sure Joe did this purely as a joke with no real expectation of making any money. Heck, there's only one perk, it costs a thousand dollars, and he says "I'll mention your name on the podcast or something who cares"

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/338569962/the-million-dollar-podcast

All tongue-in-cheekness aside, I kind of wish Joe Mande would start an actual podcast because he's a very funny dude.

I never got into SuperEgo besides the best ofs (because they're free) but they need better audio mixing. That special announcement was painful to listen to. As for the show, I get and like that they use effects on the voices like reverb and such but it often makes things a little harder to understand. I think you have to compensate more for the voice and clarity when you have a more produced and processed podcast. Ok, I'll stop complaining. I'm still looking forward to what they come out with in September.

Interesting. I'll relisten to the shows I have at some point. I was just reminded of what I felt before when I listened to that announcement. It was sibilant and hit my ears like an ice pick.
I'll grant that I like their produced-radio show style. I just find that the voice gets a little lost sometimes in the production and that distracted me. Maybe I'm just used to the drier, upfront, SM7b Earwolf sound.

I don't know who it was who recommended it, as it was a long while back at this point, but whoever made note of the Patton Oswalt episode of Walking The Room, episode 199, thank you SO MUCH for mentioning it on here. I just listened to it, finally, after having it on my list of poo poo to listen to for months. God drat what a fantastic podcast. Patton is always loving gold no matter the podcast, but he just had the best stories and chemistry with Dave, it was loving incredible.

Turtle started his own podcast last month. And in the episode with the dude who played E, they slyly mention (without naming it) that they're aware of my personal favorite Twitter account, @Assistant2Ellin... which I think is a Jake Fogelnest creation. You around to deny it, Jake?

It was a great ep, too! I only grabbed it because it was so surprising, but he was both delightful and a bigger SBTB nerd than April.

The Aukerman ep, though, drat. I think that was the best Go Bayside, hands down, and on a show that's featured PFT and Pardo multiple times, that's a high bar.

Seriously the funniest podcast. This episode was really accessible too. I 100% recommend checking it out to those who haven't, they tell a story of a crazy baseball game with the Indians vs. the Rangers from 1974 but you don't need to know anything about baseball to enjoy the story, because the stadium was selling beers for ten cents and uhhh, chaos ensues.
