On the plus side you get hilarious stories like a force sensitive Admiral Ozzel foiling your plans

As many games of Rebellion I played I only ever discovered Force sensitive people a precious handful of times. I once got excited during an Imperial run only to find out my cool new dark side trainee was Niles Ferrier.

It needs to start with a boom, it needs to end with a boom, and there must be a boom in the middle.

You know, for some reason I can't quite explain, for a while I've had this strange impression that Admiral Ozzel is the Imperial version of Porkins.

Clumsy + Stupid, and his name is Ozzel, which sounds vaguely porcine for some reason

Ozzel and Needa were my go-to pair for sabotage trickery for the Empire. I'd basically have them go into a Rebel system and sabotage everything. Then I'd send Thrawn in to incite riots. They were no Han + Chewie, but they were extremely effective.

I might have to get this going on my windows 7 machine man.

The Han+Chewie comment did it for me/.

Oh. Star Wars: The Blueprints has been re-released in a more affordable format. The original one was deluxe slipcover that came in at around $200, and I couldn't justify paying that much for it. $60 is still pretty expensive but this thing is worth it in my opinion. Loads of content, foldout schematics, and the book just feels incredibly solid.

EA teases new Star Wars Battlefront game

Gamespot posted:

Electronic Arts has teased that one of its multiple in-development Star Wars titles is an all-new Battlefront game. Speaking today during the Stifel 2013 Technology Conference, CFO Blake Jorgensen offered the hint.

"The opportunity to do a new Battlefront, for example, which is one of the very popular Star Wars games, or some of the other traditional games that were made, is very exciting."

Don't tease me like that if you can't commit.

19th Century War is often harder on the aggressor than it is on the defender however, I also know that it doesn't necessarily turn you into a sad, depressed sack of Republican tears for the rest of your life.

Even if was just Battlefield 3 with Star Wars skins I'll be fecking happy.
