I had no idea this thing was coming out until I saw a commercial yesterday. The first throught I had was that they are trying to compete with the Wii obviously (3 years too late), but the one thing the Wii has going for it is that all the games were designed for that setup. Here, I have a feeling it will be like the Super Scope 6 where one or 2 games will work, then that's it. Still shocked they did this so many years late.

I’m not really a fan of digital alarm clocks…so I shelled out for one with a bit of style.![]() Kind of neat to look at right? Except…when the alarm goes off, the soft, smooth tones of one Stephen Fry, in his role as Jeeves from “Jeeves and Wooster,” will gently wake you from your slumber. "Excuse me sir, I'm so sorry to disturb you, but it appears to be morning... Very inconvenient, I agree... I believe it is the rotation of the Earth that is to blame, sir." "Shall I inform the news agencies that you are about to rise, sir? There are one hundred and twenty six possible wake-up messages. And ten snooze buttons response. “Sir has a firm touch, but fair.”

Fooley posted:This is amazing for all sorts of reasons. Where and how much? http://www.hammacher.com/Product/76635 Cost me $114 total, with shipping. It's coming from the UK, so it's very pricey for just an alarm clock, I freely admit. However, I would much rather have something unique and fun waking me up than a series of harsh beeps and bells. That, and it's the closest I will ever come to having Stephen Fry in my bedroom.

That clock has an issue where it's arms are not fitted well enough and, therefore, it's lag is greater than other analog clocks. Still functional but you're going to have to correct it much more frequently.
