I'm not knocking on anyone in this thread yet (so this is toward no one in particular), but the last thread was filled with a bunch of posters who just posted incredibly vague pictures of stuff without a short description or even sentence stating just what the hell was in the picture. I mean if it's a picture of a Blu-ray with the movie title blatantly on the cover, then yeah, that's pretty much covered, but it kind of bugs the hell out of me when I see a cryptic picture of some silver thing with buttons on it that I have no loving clue just what it is. Can we stop this before it starts, please?

Anyway, content: My old computer chair just wasn't cutting it anymore. It had no wheels on it and it was all wood with just a hint of padding on the seat, so I decided I wanted to get one that could move around freely on wheels and have some semblance of comfort. gently caress any and all new computer chairs since they're all plastic and break just by sitting in them (thereby defeating the purpose of what it was made for), so after a month or two of scouring thrift stores, I found the absolute perfect chair for $12. No plastic, all stainless steel and polished chrome with black/brown cushions that place this chair smack dab in the gaudy 70s. I don't care about looks, because this thing is seriously like brand spanking new (almost like it was never even used!) and comfy as hell. This chair is so well built that when life as we know it has ended, this chair will still be there.

If you're brown, GET DOWN!

A round of sporting clays. You walk around a course similar to golf and at each station there is a stand you shoot from where you get to shoot three pairs of flying clay targets before moving on to the next station. Cool way to spend an afternoon and you get to push around a stroller with a gun rack or zoom around in a golf cart with a gun rack on it. It would cost around 100$ per person at most for a full round, ammo, gun rental (they have nice ones), hot dog and splitting a golf cart with four other people. 5 miles north of Allentown, PA. http://lvsclays.com/default.aspx?pageid=48 If you have no one to go with, get in touch with me.

You get to shoot over a lake in a quarry for half the course. You don't need to know much to go there. They have instructors if you are new to guns and if you go with someone who can show you it is not hard to pick it up. They even have a new shooter special where an instructor will show you everything while you shoot and the shop provides everything in that package iirc.

Tip: you can press the buttons once at each station when your group gets there to make the clays fly so you can see where they come from.

Noble Causes, Volumes 1 - 6.
Dynamo 5, Volumes 1 - 4.

No pictures, because I've just ordered them and it seems silly to just get 10 cover shots.

Back story is that the writer has a heap sitting at his house, so he's selling them off at basically half cost. Very good for this Australian, as the prices are usually fairly ridiculous. I've heard good things about the writer, Jay Faerber, so I'm more than willing to throw a $150 risk at him.

If you're keen, head on over to his blog post: http://jayfaerber.blogspot.com/2010...ng-must-go.html
