They are carbon fibre, so very light, but mainly I hope this means they won't snap. I'll be happy if they last a year or two. Overpriced but that's to be expected.

For school, but I'm really interested in the concept of the story.

Kind of an impulse buy, I looked at the back cover and it sounded neat so hopefully it won't be a waste of :15bux:.

Today is a good day. I finally got rid of the almost 50 kg heavy 32 inch television. And this is what replaced it.

A 46 inch "LED" television.
Man, my HD virgin eyes were dripping during Planet Earth.

I just bought this for my dad's birthday. This is his first mp3 player, so I thought a classic would be a bit more of a smooth transition than to jump right in to a touch.

I just got that exact same set about 3 weeks ago and its awesome.

It's the UN46C6300 right?

Only in pitch black on pitch black screens with a bright spot can i see any backlight bleed, but with a light on in the room its unnoticeable. The 120hz thing I am not sure makes much of a difference yet but why not.

Out of curiosity what did you pay for it? I got mine at that amazon link above.

This book is hilarious. I swear I couldn't get through two pages without laughing my rear end off the first time through. Enjoy.

I used to own a pair of e250's, if they use the same padding, I'll let you know that they can get really uncomfortable.

Was about to say this. I have the same HD 202's and they're bearable for about an hour tops. I'm actually looking to replace mine, as they just don't cut it for a full workday of music and podcasts.

My second Logitech MX Revolution is finally dying. It's a loving awesome mouse but I thought I'd trade for one with more buttons and macro functions and see how it goes. Tried out the Performance MX, but hated the lack of rechargeability and button placement.

And, finally getting a wireless headset with 7.1 sound and a mic, also Logitech.

I got it for around 13000 SEK, which is 1744 US dollar. It was definitely worth it. Besides from how clear the image is (haven't noticed bleeding), I'm really amazed that they managed to make it so thin.

drat currency rates.. You're going to hate me, but the Amazon.com price for me in the USA (Colorado) was $1199 USD, shipped.

However, it does OWN. The only bleeding you'll see is with all lights off, dark outside, and you have a black background on screen with some small part on the screen being bright. (Since it is edge lit, not back-lit)

Doesn't bother me in practical use at all though. I just had to run it through the gamut of tests because I couldn't believe for as thin a TV it is that it actually could produce any quality picture.

Great purchase in my opinion.

HTC Aria for the mrs. She wanted one for a while and I found a mint 2-week-old one on craigslist, paid $220 which is a pretty sweet deal. I could have gotten her one as an upgrade, but something about this being out of contract thing makes me (illogically) happy.

Yea yea, I know the captivate is a better phone, but she really likes the form factor (so do I) and it's actually very snappy for "only" a 600mhz processor. The only thing I'm not thrilled about is the screen (low res and not ultra gorgeous, though still good) and no flash for the camera, is it really that expensive to put an LED back there?

Overall, great phone. If my N1 poo poo out I'd think about getting one on the cheap, really it's all I need. I'm going to want to shoot myself soon with a $130/mo phone bill, though (and we still don't have unlimited text).

That's an amazing price for such a fantastic television. I tend to have lights on when watching television so I will probably not notice it anytime soon.
The "test" I ran was Planet Earth, get it if you haven't. It's fantastic.

They are fake screws on the back of the phone. The "camera" on the front is the optical sensor (in lieu of a physical trackball), pretty standard stuff.

Just make sure you are 100% happy with it. I had the 40" version of this and it went straight back to amazon 1 day later. Worst backlight bleed I've ever seen on any Telelvision ever. Furthermore, Samsung is playing the panel lottery which should be illegal. You see a nice IPS in the store, and once yours arrives in the mail you get some lovely chineese panel with horrible viewing angles and bleeding.

For reference, the panel type is printed on the back. Mine was CN02.

If you do end up changing your mind. LG makes some nice models that include more features for the same price as the samsung, and LG actually uses IPS panels and doesn't gently caress you with the lottery.

Other then that, yeah. I never thought I'd care about HD until I had it myself.
