Its going to approach 60 degrees at some point this week, and possibly next as well. I'm willing to take a day and shoot the poo poo at French Creek or topton (or steel / 600 yards at new holland) if anyone wants to skip work for a day. Also I want to hit SPAG this week, because I miss everyone local as well. Don't let this die out, lets have fun again people.

Went to Wicen's last week, had a blast with some friends, though it was slower paced than I'm used to at my indoor range so we didn't get to shoot nearly as much as I'd have liked.

It's worth it to me to get away from the PA state game ranges. Hey buddy. I'm a member and relative gun newbie. It's really a great place to shoot, usually totally uncrowded or even empty. Much better than the public ranges. But to answer your question no, I haven't qualified for the indoor range yet. Got the guys number and all, but with work and school and holidays approaching I've been putting it off... 50 feet is pretty close, though. Not sure how big the target is. Anyway pretty much everyone that I've talked to who works there has been really friendly. I can't imagine them not giving you a few tries if you get pretty close.

He just wanted us to show that we can safely handle and clear a handgun. Yea, HH&A is a pretty sweet place to shoot guns.

I'm coming back to PA!!! ![]() For a week. I'll be in the Reading/Philly neighborhood from 12/23-1/3. I'm only going to bring my o/u shottie this year so if any PA Gunes want to break some flying clays I'm all for it. Lil Deez, I'm looking at you...

Yeah, I am definitely down to shoot some clays. I liked the second place we went last time, do you remember what it was called? If anyone else is into it, maybe we could do another trip to this place? http://www.lvsclays.com/

I remember shooting trap there, but did they have skeet as well? We shot skeet at that club near Reading.

Father to son or Grandfather to son (or Mother/Grandmother as well, I suppose) you can just give it, anything else you'd have to check because I can't remember. But as long as both the you and the giver are PA residents it's all cool. Both of these only apply to pistols, with long guns you can give them away / sell them to whoever whenever.

I'm not dead, although I might as well be. I won't be able to make it tomorrow at 10, but I'm trying to hit SPAG on Saturday the 18th. Kinda good news. The project I'm working on has about 40 days before it's done, then there's 3 weeks of 24 hour shifts, which means I should be back to my normal schedule around... March.

I asked why they kept "Archery" in their name, and they told me that the owner's dad was into archery or something and he kept it in the name for nostalgic reasons. It's funny, if you look on the sign they put up next to the door, only about half of the features they list are still available. A 'smoking lounge' would have been cool, but oh well.
