Stuntman Mike posted:I'm stealing poo poo from this thread and putting together my own badass desktop, but tasks are a real pain in the balls. If only loving Astrid would support Google Tasks - everyone else does, API be damned The newest version released yesterday adds Google Task sync

Daric posted:Man screw this thread. I see all these cool widgets but I can't get Beautiful Widgets because the only credit card I have is AMEX and it won't accept those. Google won't allow you to buy something on a different currency with an AMEX card The good news is you can buy apps that are sold in US dollars

DrBouvenstein posted:Ok...but all that swiping and/or clicking is just as much work as opening the app drawer. It's a lot easier for me to have my most used programs on one of my three desktops, At most, it's one swipe and one click. Not three swipes through my dock, then a swipe up, then a click, then do the hokey-pokey...but you didn't have to open the app drawer, so I guess you win! I'm in the same boat - I keep 8 apps that I use all the time on my main homescreen plus a folder for games. That's the beauty of something so customizable: people who want apps quickly and people who want 8 square inches of a pretty picture or even a pattern of gray dots to look at both win

God Exists. posted:I did it manually, which probably takes less time than finding a metamorph. Send your framework-res.apk to your computer using Root Explorer or ADB, open it with 7zip, edit whatever images you want to in drawable-hdpi. In your case you want to edit statusbar_background.png to be black. After you're done replacing the images, replace your framework-res.apk by using 'adb push framework-res.apk /system/framework/' in recovery. I made a metamorph of my own notification bar here, you can grab whatever images you want out of it (or run the metamorph if you have a compatible framework). Backup before all of this of course. I thought you had to decompile/compile framework-res instead of just unzipping/zipping it?
