I've been lurking in this thread for a while stealing ideas. I thought I would share. Home Screen ![]() Far Left ![]() Far Right ![]() For reference, I'm on a Droid X using the Liberty Theme with Launcher Pro, Beautiful Widgets, and Minimalistic Text. Edit: Color Gradients are from bad picture compression. Too lazy to fix. Zach the Drifter fucked around with this message at Mar 22, 2011 around 03:33 |

I just came across a great resource I really thought I should share. If you guys haven't come across digital vanity you should check it out. I spent nearly 8 hours today laying out over and over again on my phone stealing themes from this place. http://digitalvanity.me/tagged/android

Maybe this isn't the best place, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the Liberty. I used 1.0 & 1.5 before upgrading to 2.0.1. So far I've found it pretty unstable by comparison. However, the new themeing in the liberty toolbox is pretty impressive. I'm running the revolution theme so far.

php6 posted:I've used many roms. Apex was the only one that could come close. Liberty has unleashed my Droid X. the Revolution (and Remix) themes do not work with the Market though I'm not exactly sure what you meant by "through the market" but to install a new theme in liberty 2.0.1 you need to use the liberty toolbox. You can get the liberty toolbox through the market. Then when under the liberty toolbox you go to the "install roms" section and you can install new themes (previews included) through the toolbox. Revolution and a number of others are included under that. Liberty Gingerbread does look like the most promising rom yet, but as the others state, I think I'll wait for the stable release.
