So I just now watched that 2 AM PM short that was something of a precurser to Regular Show. Is JG Quintel really tall? it seems that all the characters voiced by him are the tall guy.

I'm gonna go ahead and guess the whole 420 thing was a reverse censorship deal. As in, when it went to the editors the show had the 9:25 thing on the VCR, and then they slipped on the 4:20 number on top of it afterwards. That's why the hand went under: it was post-production.

Yeah at times I think Margaret isn't even in the friend zone with Mordecai, as such as the Hooters Waitress zone (but with coffee). She's just friendly with everyone, it's part of the job.

Next Monday!

EDIT: I saw that date on AICN, but Cartoon Network's schedule doesn't list a new episode for next Monday. I guess it'll be a little longer yet.

Also, according to the CN schedule, next week's Regular Show is entitled "A Bunch of Baby Ducks".
The little preview commercial looks pretty funny, as usual. The ducks mock the duo with their own "OOOOOOOH" thing

You know, all and all I think Benson is mostly getting used to the expensive antics Mordecai and Rigby end up getting in at the end of each episode?

A destroyed fountain, overturned truck and some random murdered guy? Nothing to really raise a fuss over at this point.

Directly it really should translate out to "Mi madre!" instead of the weaker "Mi mama", but apparently saying "your mother" like that in spanish is actually sort of a curse word so they changed it.

That's just the way Cartoon Network does DVD releases, for some reason. I think the only series that didn't do this was Samurai Jack, and that's probably only because there was some continuity to it.
There's continuity to Regular Show!

They, like, meet Space David Bowie, and he tries to steal Skips' life force, and Mordecai and Rigby stop him and hes mad and tries to get revenge by joining the badguy bowling team but then he resolves his differences and defends the guys in Cool Court. And then it blows up and he dies (???), plot arc over.

Upon re-watching Weekend at Benson's, I have devised the following very simple Regular Show drinking game.

1. Take a drink whenever the guys go "Oooah!"
2. Chug whenever there is, in essence, an acid trip sequence.

That's it.

Make 'em watch The Power and Death Punchies back-to-back. If they aren't interested in the show after watching those two, it isn't for them.

You could argue that Mordecai has been progressing his relationship. You know. In tiny ways. Like being asked to water Margaret's plants. Have you been asked to water a girl's plants?? I didn't think so!

Besides, we all know they're gonna end up together eventually. No need to, heh, rush things, right?
