I'd like to see Boxbot do anything useful with his arms.

Robox has a confident stride, a winning smile, and a go-getter attitude. Why play goalie when he could easily be coach or team owner?

I think it's implied that, given what must be at the forefront of her mind right now, Parley teleported herself and Smitty to somewhere typically associated with hot make-out sessions. She's done it before.

Parley ain't so embarrassed about it this time. She's growing up :3:

It looks like they teleported to an identical set of steps, just without Annie and Kat there. Or did they teleport somewhere and then teleport back to the same steps a second later? I'm a little confused and possibly retarded.

Also Coyote called her Fire Head Girl. Maybe he wasn't talking about her red hair, but her stylin' fire spike hat.

If this were real life, it would be pretty fair to assume Anthony is a dickhead. But this is a story, and a good one. I doubt after all the buildup, he's going to come back and say "oh, sorry I didn't call, I didn't feel like it because I'm a giant dick." He's almost guaranteed to have a really good reason for not being there, we just don't know what it is yet.

This may be a terrible idea. The other time she went to the forest, she had permission.

Coyote gave her an open invitation. Even so, going to the forest without sending a sky signal and being escorted by someone is probably bad protocol.

Did Annie actually start that fire? It looks like she does (similar art as when she does other things with her mind), but it could just be stylization.

I think she did it. You'll notice in panel 4 that the fire is actually coming out of her brain.

I predict that, now that Annie has a taste for murder, she won't be able to stop. Her next victim will probably be Jack.

True, although we have every reason to believe that Surma's mother also died when she was young.

Didn't it turn out that Tom had misread the question as being about Surma instead of Surma's mother? I don't follow the Word of Tom, but I seem to recall someone posting in here that that was the case. Surma's mother could still be alive, for all we know.

What reason is there to think that? We haven't seen the blinker stone at all this chapter, and she's part fire elemental.

But she didn't know that at the time, and we've seen her make blinker fire before.

Yeah, but the blinker fire always comes from the blinker stone. She didn't leave it in the river last chapter, and I doubt she got Smitty to throw it down there again. I think she just focused her rage on Eglamore, and fire was the result.
