Food Court Druid posted:I think it speaks to the craftsmanship of this show that I saw the squid-ink-cake gag coming a mile away and still laughed when it happened. I feel the same way. This is a surprisingly well-done show.

Or, for those who don't have a nico account (and want to know how to do this with any video), you can simulate that by going to http://www.youtuberepeater.com/watch?v=ncLp-uco3qg and then clicking on the link under the youtube box and setting starting time to 0:17 and ending time to 1:04 (I don't think there's a way to do that setting in the url.).

Super Jay Mann posted:Said segment also made me sad that I'm so drat rusty at higher-than-basic level algebra I'm not ashamed to admit that that segment might be my favorite part of the show yet. What other animated shows would know about the Fields Medal? Well, Futurama, but aside from that. helopticor fucked around with this message at Nov 14, 2010 around 16:15 |

Why has everyone forgotten about spoiler tags in this thread? The episode's not even going to be up on Crunchyroll for a few days, let alone be not-the-newest-episode. Edit: To clarify, even if Crunchyroll were same-day for this show, episode 11 would still be the newest episode that aired, and hence need spoiler tags. helopticor fucked around with this message at Dec 17, 2010 around 15:51 |

The whole thing seemed a bit more mellow than it was before, from the music to the characterization, and the direction... I dunno. Feels like it's comedic teeth have been ground down, if not completely removed. More of an iyashi-kei feel
