foodfight posted:So I've read a bunch of rooting articles (including the op) and one thing I never see covered is whether or not rooting voids any warranties that your carrier provides. My guess is that as long as you returned your phone back to its original state before bringing it in they would never know. For the nexus one I've read a bunch of stories where they were still covered as long as it was an obvious hardware issue. Though technically you've voided the warranty.
