Ok, im trying to root my HTC legend. I have checked and its got the right firmware. I have enabled usb debugging and stay awake. I have created the goldcard and that seems to be working. Im using these instructions - http://rootzwiki.com/index.php/Smartphones/HTC-Corporation/Legend.html Step 3 is slightly different on mine. Recovery is already shown in red. It all falls down on step 7 though. The command prompt appears, but it cant connect to the phone, and so doesnt do anything. I dont get the custom recovery screen, so I cant go any further. What blindingly obvious thing am I missing?

I have an HTC Legend rooted to the latest stable cm6. Ever since I installed it the camera has been nigh unusable. Are there any better apps that fix this or is it an issue with CM6?

Is there a way to use HTC sync in CM6? The touch screen on my htc legend has hosed up and doesnt respond to anything now. I want to unroot the phone to get it back to factory and then get it repaired under warranty, but everything is going wrong this morning. http://theunlockr.com/2010/06/07/how-to-unroot-the-htc-legend/ fixed that problem.
