Pretty sure they would like to make money. There's a reason Three 6 Mafia doesn't rap about Satan and raping Eve and stuff anymore, they like money.

I think they just have to tone down how often they rap about surprise sex. The Slim Shady LP was full of references to Em murdering his wife. There was even a skit as I recall that had him moving her body. Odd Future can still prosper with some surprise sex raps. Controversy creates cash, or so they say. I don't know how much sway Wal Mart can have on a band's success anymore as iTunes has risen in prominence. Odd Future will need to eventually begin exploring new territory though or face career killing redundancy.

I keep hearing different stories about Earl. One says he got a skating ticket and his mom sent him to boarding scchool, or that he was sending out a shitload of text messages and wouldn't help pay the bill, so she sent him to a youth work program. It's not really clear, and things are being kept pretty quiet. Bottom line, he hosed up and is out of the picture for a while.

I'm surprised this particular song hadn't been posted yet: Tyler, The Creator - French http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fk68dCUQjzE It's only a short segment of it but the rest of the song is just as beast. Tyler's album is awesome in its entirety. The album is called "Bastard". edit: And I guess it was just me that was interpreting the whole "surprise sex" thing as more of a metaphor. That and when they rapped about raping eve I thought "gently caress bitches, get money". Cizzo fucked around with this message at Dec 17, 2010 around 03:49 |

More like <30 seconds. But I might actually buy the hard copy if it is actually done well with a nice book and whatnot. I have no problem with supporting them. It also needs a nice cover. Should get Lil B on that to help. Will be the first actual cd I buy in a long time. Also, I was listening to Earl, and for some reason after 100 listens in my car (that doesn't show the track name) I never realized that erap was more then just Earl. Until Earl referenced Vince. They sound pretty similar to my ear, why isn't Vince Staples promoted more?
