I just feel like stating how much I loving love Tyler's voice and flow. It takes me back to ODB's rawness and even a little of Busta Rhymes' swagger he had going on for a while. I'm so used to boring rappers who sound decent but just like any random studio musician would on a album.

Earl is probably just chilling at home and telling Tyler what to say about him.

I think I'm in for this. The Bastard link on the website doesn't work anymore, anyone know where else to look? I don't trust the zip files that show up on Google.

Why not? They're usually all safe.

I don't get why everyone includes these guys in the hipster bullshit horrorcore rap discussions. These guys are to rap what powerviolence was to hardcore. They're not completely revolutionary but they're coming in with a different perspective and don't seem very worried about just being themselves and having a good time about it. They made me realize how complacent I've been with my listening habits and for that alone I would consider them a special group.

Because they've been featured a few times on notorious hipster site (Pitchfork) and now hipsters are rushing to defend and praise OFWGKTA. Not saying it's a bad thing but when the trend changes, their opinions most likely will too.

Music is music and trying to label someone's creative work is about as painful as trying to sit through an entire episode of Top Gear (The USA version)

I agree completely. The problem is that some people think that OF wants that sort of attention and are the ones going out to get it. I'm sure it doesn't really bother them, but it's definitely not what they are striving for. I guess that any coverage is good coverage though. The kids will definitely get cash out of the hype.

To any of you guys that have still yet to grab that Frank Ocean album, go do it right now. It's growing on me a lot and some of the melodies are really really fantastic.

When people say you can be anything you want—that you could do whatever you want—Dude, I really thought that poo poo was corny until this moment right now, it's like, I always would see Pharell saying, you could be whatever you want, or your parents, you could be whatever you want. And, like, that's when when I say “I Am A loving Unicorn”, people are loving confused. I want to be a—I am a loving unicorn. I Am A loving Unicorn, and you're not gonna tell me that I'm loving not. I could be whatever—I'm a loving table. I'm a table. [Looks into camera] I'm A loving Table. And then to literally know that you can be whatever you want, as long as you believe that that's what you are? You're good.

This is going to be one of my favorite quotes forever.

Tyler is a stupid kid who acts like an rear end in a top hat all the time, and I love him for it. Who cares. I despise homophobia in every way, but Tyler/OF isn't an issue.

Carcass is incredible but Amott basically just copied and pastied poo poo from his sister's medical books. That's not really anything like the OF situation.

That said, this is the worst discussion I think I've ever read on these forums.

Let's over Goblin again

Transylvania is by far my favorite track now. I normally hate pitch shifted vocals of any sort but Tyler's voice is so dirty and menacing throughout the song. I really dig his flow in it.
