Well that's awesome my Rock band 2 box has neither the instructions or the disk in it. That means my daughter probably go into it and destroyed it without me noticing. Thanks Julie!!

Oh, speaking of Road Challenges: The final challenge, the Hall of Fame one where you have to play 20 songs on a world tour, is CRAZY difficult by normal RB standards. Certain spade criteria on that challenge are pretty nuts on Expert, even when playing by yourself. For the streak one, for instance, you can't break streak more than once (pretty much) or you'll only get ~4.8 spades max. The Overdrive-related ones are still pretty easy, but any of the streak-related ones demand a near-full combo to 5-spade. I can't imagine doing it with a 4+ person all-Expert band! Of course, there's no difficulty requirement, but it was cool to see an in-game thing be so challenging.

Does RB3 have a setting so you can make certain song not show up as frequently (or at all)? I thought I read that they were doing that in an interview a few months back.

Anyone spend time with Party Shuffle yet? As far as I can tell, it just dumps every song you have into a massive setlist. You can bring up your personal menu to skip songs (the menus remember your selections, so after your first skip you can just mash the green button to get to the next song), which goes impressively fast. The camera lingers on the crowd for a couple seconds and then the next song starts up. Any other options for this that people are aware of? Can you do a filtered party shuffle? Or shuffle an existing setlist so it isn't in the same order every time?

So, because of a gently caress-up with my online order at Gamestop, I ended up getting a copy of the game in-store last night. Long story short, I have an extra pre-order DLC code for the first person who posts their favorite Talking Heads song. Also, your email address, if you don't have PMs.

Does anyone know if the RB3 keyboard will fit in a regular keyboard stand, or do I need to buy the official madcatz keyboard stand?

Deleted songs don't show up at all, so I don't even have to look at them, or think about them. Or see them in my list of songs and feel obligated to play them cause it has no stars or to curse it's name when I annoyingly scroll past it on my drums.

I was able to get into the music store and get my 3 free Doors DLC songs. So, you might want to try now while most people are at work and/or school. How to get your 3 free Doors songs (good this week only!) ![]() To get them, load up Rock Band 3 on your Xbox 360. Go to "Get more songs" from the main menu of the game. Hopefully the music store will load. Then, look on the left hand side of the screen inside of the music store. Wait until you see it say something with the words DOORS and FREE in the title and hit the yellow (Y) button to go to that offer. Then download it for 0 Microsoft Points and have fun.

Well, the songs I've deleted so far were from Lego:RB. If I really hate the song I'll fully get rid of it. If I just hate it on drums, I'll one or two lighter it. I don't play random setlists that often anyway, so I'm not worried about it.

I pre-ordered at Gamestop in Canada, and they said that apparently they're not getting codes. Also, speaking of which, very disappointed with the release in Canada. Apparently they received the game and the keyboards, but both separate. No KB/Game packages, and no pro-guitar. Apparently they'll be coming next week (they received an email from Harmonix concerning this). Taking into account that GS Canada (or perhaps just Quebec like we usually get hosed out of everything) won't get pre-order codes, it is pretty loving horrible that they get told one thing, then ONE DAY BEFORE RELEASE they get an e-mail stating that "you'll only be getting 2 things, sorry, insert some bullshit reason here". Also, what's with the Game/KB Package in GS' system costing $160, but the game and keyboard separately cost $150? Why do I save $10 by buying them separately? (that's probably a GS issue more than anything) Still, I have the game and the keyboard. At least I'll get to play that for a few days until my Mustang gets here. tl;dr - Gamestop Canada/Quebec (and probably every other store in Canada/Quebec) got hosed over. At least they can sell it here now (that's why there's French on your keyboard box)

Forgot the other song that I wanted to delete instead, but maybe they're not deleted after all. But Kung-Fu fighting, and Ghostbusters are still showing up for me. Anyone else preorder the nonexistent PS3 bundle at Gamestop and end up getting change back? Why the hell did they give me a game, a keyboard and $9.05 change back? Not that I'm complaining or anything, but how is "We'll give you a $10 discount so the price stays the same" working out to "Here's everything plus we're throwing in a little tip"? I'm under the impression that my local Gamestop employee was a loving moron and I confused him into throwing money at me. It was bizarre. He was genuinely shocked and surprised that I knew there were keyboards available separately and that I knew they had them somewhere in the store. When he acknowledged that they were in the back and I asked for one he said "Oh, you want to get it now?" No I preordered a keyboard so I COULDN'T have it on launch day, so how about I pick it up next May, idiot. WTF? In the end he handed me a game, a keyboard and some money. I didn't question it. Yay for having a 3 year old...no RB2 manual in my house.
