If you purchased the keys and game separately as opposed to the bundle it cost ten dollars more so Gamestop is doing you a favor and giving you the money back.

Hmm seems like the bundle is selling from other merchants on amazon.com but I dunno about that, I'm wary of getting dinged for customs bullshit if I do that.

No, giving me 10 bucks back is giving me a $20.00 discount. Do the math on it. I pre-paid $129.00. I got keys and game and $10.00 back, so I ended up paying $119.00.

OP posted:Normal mode only allows 2 out of guitar/bass/keys and requires vox and/or drums. All Instrument Mode must be enabled if you want guitar+bass+keys. Well this sucks. My playgroup avoids the drums like the plague. We have three people (out of about 15) who will do drums, myself included, and I'm the only decent vocalist we have. Anyway, are the "road challenges" the only type of career mode, or am I missing something? Is it possible to complete the road challenges without playing on Expert? I really hate doing solo vocals but they're the only thing I can do reliably on Expert. Also, are the goals and unlockable items per-gamertag or per-character?

But they usually take longer and they have started tacking on extra shipping/border fees which kinda sucks. For a while it was awesome because you could order books at the .com price and they would ship from Toronto for reasonable rates. If you live in the lower mainland just get an account with a place like http://www.pacificmailandparcel.com/ and get stuff shipped there then run across the Blaine truck crossing or whatever and pick it up. That particular one is the place we use and it's extremely close to the border crossing so it's quite easy to get across and back in short order. I think they charge something like $13/year + $3/package but the savings you get by ordering stuff via amazon.com more than make up for that.

Some thoughts: - Somehow Pro Drums just managed to make Dreaming of Love even more awesome than it already was. - Perhaps sometime in the future there will be some DLC that lets us pick up some of these songs we keep hearing during the menu screens (that is, if any of them are real full-length songs). Some of them are pretty neat. - I can't remember which specific exercise it is right now, but there's one keyboard trainer exercise that's WAAAY harder than the ones around it. They have you playing three-note chords before they even explain them...and all just to show off the glissando feature. I must have spent like 15 minutes on that one alone, and 3 on all the others around it. What gives?! - And finally, just in general, keyboards is way more fun and satisfying than it has any right to be. Best opening-day purchase I've ever made.

Did they do the leaderboard reset already? I just fullcomboed a song with a pretty good use of overdrive, and really want to see if I got #1, but it won't connect me. I'm not spergy, I just have only ever gotten #1 on rockband once before and similar circumstances hosed me out of a photo of it until 30 other people beat it by a couple of points.

I went to place a pre-order in store a few months ago and they quoted that $160 price which I just accepted as the standard "screw Canada" pricing but when I got home and checked the web site it showed up as $130 there. I printed off the page and argued with the guys in the store a bit about the prices being different but they wouldn't budge so I ended up cancelling the order and ordering it online. Then a month or so ago they raised the online price to match the crazy in-store price. Customer service claims they'll honour the price I ordered it at so here's hoping.

Ok so I think my touch strip is broken. I'm doing the tutorial and it says I have to use it for one second after overdrive. I am activating overdrive and then touching the strip and moving my finger around on it. Nothing is happening and it won't let me progress. Am I doing something wrong or does it sound like my touch strip is hosed?
